Death Anniversary Thread

The end of April was not good for famous people with the initials "A. H." it seems... -
Looking at their IMDb's, both Betty White and Rue McClanahan are still active so I think they'll go on for a bit. However, White will most likely die first due to age. (White's 87 compared to McLanahan's 75)

De Jong & Mulisch likewise. But I think Veghead started a thread for Dutch celebrities somewhere..... Heesters is dead isn't he? Last Month or something? Or have I been duped? No he didn't, all he's doing is playing God in something. OoO got mixed up due to the article being foreign and assumed "Gott" was "gone".

Jack's hard/stiff.

A former DL pick as well. The Corporal still lives however.

Also worth a mention that Levi-Montalcini is about to become the first ever centenarian laureate, and is still working. -
I think this should be it's own thread. However I do have one more... Carla Laemmle (born 1909) is believed to be the only surviving Dracula (1931) cast member. There are a few entries that don't have birth or death dates so I'm not too sure on those.

Low-temperature theoretical physicist Laszlo Tisza, 101, has just reached a low body temperature. He's an unique pick on DDP if he gets the suitable obit.

Still probably has more hair than Goody did.

I'm not really a ranter so I'll just say this: Attention does not equal significance.

I think he should stay just since he would not be a good one to miss out on...

Canadian historian J.M.S. Careless just became history... I'm not so sure about a historian that's Careless.
-
89 today. If he lives the year this will be just about the only news of him in this thread.

Charlton Heston died a year ago today. -
Those who are unconscious tend to not last long... save for Sharon. (and he doesn't compare to how long Sunny von Bülow lasted!)

Olivia received the National Medal of Arts several months ago in November 2008, along with the likes of Stan Lee. Don't know of any recent news on Joan, but both sisters still seem to be doing well.

Still looks like a fekin psycho Especially with a swastika on his forehead.

That's not saying much. Jeremy Beadle had more talent in his small hand than Jade has in her entire body. His smallest fingernail. Even an ant has more talent than Jade. On Richardson, certainly a sad story. Wasn't too familiar with her beforehand (Redgrave yes, her no) but 45 is not a long life and from what I've read she had talent even when NOT compared to Jade.

99-year-old television pioneer Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. has died... he worked on what might've been the first video game, and certainly the first video game patent.
