I'd hardly call those regrets. All three are doing decently in spite of age; especially Borgnine. Anyways, the list looks pretty good. I wonder if DeathList will ever learn when it comes to Eli Wallach.
-
Another for Atkins.
-
Helen Wills Moody died on the very first day of the 1998 DeathList.
-
Another article with the topic: http://www.sarahconradofeaglecreek.com/les...own%202008.html Has many more names listed, but in less detail. Some interesting ones are listed, although I wouldn't call Roy Scheider "lesser known."
-
Eric Charles Twelves Wilson, Victoria Cross recipient, has died at 96, reducing the amount of living recipients to nine.
-
The "earth" part of her name stands out now. And it's also suitable that she died on Christmas, considering "Santa Baby".

Too bad Obama was elected in The USA. Commies will take over America!!! Obama or should I say A BOMA( Remember in A Bomber, Letter B is silent and ER sounds like A). Silent bombing in the USA. Remember The notorious 60´s Bomber Bill Ayers, who is linked to Obama? Obama said in the 3rd debate that he won´t support Colombian President Uribe, who has done an excellent job fighting terror in his native country with US support. America is safer!!! Plano Patriota (=Plan Colombia) has managed to reduce drug traficking and killed many Las Farc members. Before Uribe they were 17,000 and now only 9,000 . Latin America is an issue Obama knows little about. (=He never went to South America) He wants to talk to Chavez , who calls Yankees Shitty(=YANKIS DE MIERDA). Mccain knows Latin America very well, and he even had a Brazilian girlfriend. Wake up Americans!!! Obama is A bomber. 7 years after 911, Another terroist attack in America, A KENYAN PRESIDENT OF THE USA!!! Hearing Obama and Anti-Christ in the same post instantly shows for the post to not be taken seriously.

Ideas And Possibilities For 2009
Death Impends replied to Anubis the Jackal's topic in DeathList Forum
Yes but it frequently occurs with elderly people that when their spouses predecease them they lose the will to live. Th brain is vital but they lose heart. Totally agree but I had the widows of Eric and Ernie round for a fry up heavy on black pudding, and Nancy Reagan and Betty Ford chanced by, they told me they'd been talking to Tony Benn who'd told them the above was - sometimes - bollocks. And Billy Graham is still living a year and a half after his wife's death. Enough said. -
Nice job with the list. One suggestion is that I think Coase (being a Nobel laureate) would be famous enough; but it really isn't a big deal either way.

One of Zsa Zsa's many former husbands, Herbert L. Hutner, has died at age 99.
-
Anita Page also died back in September. I bet you wouldn't know anything about that. After Page was Nigel Plews, Studs Terkel, Edna Parker, and Bettie Page. I think those are the only ones not already labeled as dead.
-
Didn't last long, now dead.
-
Happy 92nd birthday to Kirk Douglas.
-
Forrest J Ackerman, after a month of frailty, has died at 92.
-
Pierre Picault is dead as well, leaving us with only four WWI countries, all of them English-speaking.

Technically, if you want, you can claim that you were selecting his son of the same name. I doubt he'll either die or get the required coverage, but it's better than going in with 9 members. Meanwhile, I continue to regret allowing MPFC's Theme Team in the game and, now that my life has returned to sucking, I remember why deadpooling is such an enjoyable distraction. Anyhow, site updated (finally). It was a rather large update this time, so if I missed something, particularly a hit, or made a mistake, let me know. I guess I can just go that way, haha. Yeah, better than 9 members and I can just kick him off next year.
-
Looks like John Landeryou had been dead beforehand, ah well. Might as well just be more careful next time about living statuses of people.
-
Now 92, and it still looks like he's doing quite well.
-
Dead.
-
Jacques Piccard, Swiss explorer and one of two men to reach the deepest point on Earth's surface of Mariana Trench's Challenger Deep, will soon be going for a permanent journey underground.
-
But the fact he has an English obit is good enough for a theme team.
-
Delfino Borroni has now died, (in Italian, but English obits should be up soon after).
-
Nothing special, Fred Phelps and his group think everyone not part of their church is in Hell.
-
I got a second hit with Mr. Blackwell.

Who's Going To Be Around For A While?
Death Impends replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList Forum
This had been a party political broadcast on behalf of the Australian Republican Party. Back to the topic, Paul Newman gets my vote, eighty years old and still on the job. Ew man. Crickey!!! Er.... To be fair, I remember when he turned 80 and thinking 'He seems in good form'. Just goes to show you never know... It seems that there are three now dead names who were mentioned in this thread while still alive: * Kitty Carlisle (died 2007, who was doing well until a cold got her) * Bill Deedes (died 2007) * Paul Newman So for a 7-page thread, the picks have been pretty good. Yes, except this thread is for those we thought were going to dodge the bullet for the forseeable... Oh the irony... That's what I meant, as most of the several dozen mentioned names are living still.
