I think you misunderstood. My assumption was that @drol was referring to the statement " I'm never doing deathpooling again".

To be more specific, I like them all well enough except Running Up That Hill. But there are many that I prefer among those that have been eliminated. -
I had Alwen Hughes. Johnnie Walker comes off the bench. New no 3 sub - Charlotte Raven, please.

I don't care. There's nothing left that I particularly like. All the best songs have gone. -

Really? ISTR a TV programme which featured her sitting for this portrait, and she came over as enjoying it. Perhaps she was a better actress that we realised. No doubt that programme will never be shown again so we can't tell. Another case of history being obliterated so that they can pretend that people who did bad things never existed.

Whatever else Rolf was, he was a very good painter.

Rolf would have produced a better likeness. This is his portrait of HMTLQ.

My car passed the MOT again, with nothing in the advisories to cause concern. And it's nice and clean (see Room 101 for the saga)

I agree, except for Starmer-Smith. Well, I know jack about rugby union but I am aware of N S-S, more as a commentator than a player. It may be from being of a certain age and Grandstand on Saturday afternoons.

Correct. The only words that need an apostrophe to form a plural are single-letter words, eg mind our p's and q's dot the i's and cross the t's
