That post from the wife is incredibly insensitive with "if you put your mind to it". Lots of people "put their mind to it" but still get very ill and die. He's just been bloody lucky to be able to carry on so long.

Probably mostly annoyed with himself for fumbling it. There was a photo on Twitter of William and Keir Starmer at the football which purports to show aggression from William. Put into context alongside other shots it's clear that it's just part of an animated conversation. You always need to see, and ideally hear, the whole scene to understand fully what's gone on.

I agree. I've had respect for him ever since he stepped up to take a penalty at Euro 96 while the rest were hanging back. It was saved. I don't call saved penalties "missed". The goalkeeper deserves credit. A missed penalty is one that goes over the bar or wide of the goal.
