It'll be worth leaving the thread open so everyone can change their vote to vote Joao. :-p I already had

Where to start .... Well just forget you read it. It will help. I had, until you quoted it

Oh! I think he was the fellow who was suggested to me a while ago by a friend who was at school with him. As a bit of a wild card. Damn.

We know someone who's just here for the entertainment. We know someone who's just here to try and irritate the shit out of us all.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

Where's 'Dead Man Walking' ? -
It's worth leaving the thread open just to annoy joeyruss.

I should hope so. You'd have to have some swinging balls to say 'a 99-100 year old man is DEFINITELY NOT going to die'. SC Why did you pick him for this then? LOL so he did. A few more casualties as well.

Javier Perez de Cuellar, because I always get him mixed up with Havelange. Would tidy things up.
-
Unfortunately, deaths come in threes and not twos Oh, I'm sure we can all come up with a third that we wouldn't miss.
-
Who died and put you in charge?
-
He made an appearance in Father Ted as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPCB_pIiWDY

Of course! Thanks. How could I forget Gary Speed. Funny, I didn't recognise Jamie Redknapp at all, although can see it's him now.
-
Remind me who they all are. Paul Ince in the middle, and I recognise several others but their names are escaping me right now.

There really is one. I think this is the lot that occasionally has lunch at our local, much to the discomfort of the landlord. (although they do dress for lunch)

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
Toast replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
You should be so lucky!! Reminds me of that random Canadian woman. Not seen her post in ages. Mind you, she said one of my jokes were funny, so I fear for her sanity. It was one of my jokes that caused her to flounce off. Her behaviour was quite inexplicable. what the f**k. She has every right to be offended by you. You sack of shit. Posting a picture of a rack is a horrible thing to do to another human being. People like you make me sick like she in unreasonable for being upset. The evil is too much. -

Barbara's been spared the agony of burying any further children by herself dying at 95. Oh I get it, and Pah-LEEEEZ don't state the obvious, but what's her obit doing in goddamn Billboard? It's wrong. You know it and I know it. SC She's been an infrequent dead pool pick for a few of us (though not on any of my teams currently) Always knew she'd be obitable as and when Same here Mary - mistaken took her off my list for Stigwood this year when I should have kept both. Aye, well - the toll on Barry continues, eh? Here comes the raw blues album opened with his very unique take on "I'm Still Standing" I was just thinking, he must be good at choosing hymns by now.

Agree. It seemed wrong to "like" your post because of the first paragraph.
-
It's all good, you made up for it by having an Ethiopian who trains in the USA win a gold 'for England' in the 10000M. Whatever allows you to thump your chests I guess. SC I suppose you'll be cheering on Kenyan born/raised US 5000 metres champion Bernard Lagat then? It's like the Eurovision Song Contest these days.

probably the biggest ever death from Star Wars. sad loss. RIP Biggest? only in that he was in 6 films, as opposed to Peter Cushings one or Alec Guiness's 3. I accept they were more famous actors though Whoosh

That sounds a bit ominous. Is he obitable? -
I cannot answer your question, but as to the 1966 footballers, I suspect that people are making connections with their shirt numbers.

Papers always use the phrase "fighting for his life" when somebody is in hospital. Though they never say who the opponent is... The opponent is always The Grim Reaper. They don't use the phrase "fighting for his life" if the person in hospital is a woman, otherwise that would be incorrect. Or to quote Oscar Pistorius, "farting for my laugh".
