I believe anything under the BBC Sport section is fair game? As far as I know, regional stories are only excluded if it's under the UK section. That doesn't seem fair if it's the case. I'm not saying this shouldn't count for Farren. I'm saying that if it does, then a report under the Norn Iron section of BBC News should count too, (As should England, Scotland & Wales as well) Its all made up as it goes along anyway. I like that in the HPDP.

Who Should Be On The 2016 Deathlist?
Toast replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
Dead, with obligatory telegraph obit: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/12140770/Sir-Jeremy-Morse-banker-obituary.html He was also a proficient crossword creator, I believe there's a special term for it. He could have been a very creative pick for the Death List. Didn't Colin Dexter name Morse after him? (It probably says this in the obit, but it wants me to disable my adblocker and I can't be arsed so I didn't read on) It's right in the sub-head! I couldn't read it - it was obscured by a huge banner that blanked out the lot. -

Has there been a qualifying obit for Mark Farren? I see it's reported in the Northern Ireland section of the football section of the BBC Sport section, but unsure if that counts under the new rule.

Even worse are the ones who step off the escalator and then come to a halt. Carnage, I don't mind if they come to a halt, as long as they move to one side first. Yes, but those are not the people I meant.

I went to see Marianne last night at the Roundhouse and she was pretty much as Book describes. Walking very painfully with a stick, having to sit down frequently, lots of tea (well, that's what she said it was) and smokes. She was terrific though. I was prepared to be disappointed, but she can still sing and interpret a song powerfully. She was also quite hilarious. She did, I think, just 13 songs but was on stage for over 90 minutes. Clearly very tiring for her though. No encore. The gig was being filmed for something so you may have a chance to study the form yourselves at some point. Personally I hope she's around for a long time yet, she's a great character. Sadly that's how Etta James was in her last couple of years. I'll give Marriane 5 years at the most. She did miss a verse out of one song, for which she apologised. It was near the end, so difficult to say whether she made a mistake or mischievously did it to cut a corner because she was getting tired. She missed out a verse? I'd have asked for some of my money back. She's too shot away to remember all the words, she has all the songs on a music stand in front of her. It was still worth every penny though.

I believe I may have admitted to taking a walking stick on country walks, but that's for diverse reasons I've never taken a walking stick to a gig, although come to think of it, there could be advantages Actually there were a lot of younger people in the audience, there seemed to be all ages from teenagers up.

Ehrm, ironic? For Alanis Morissette values of ironic, then. Yeah I know but where would you have me post it? Too funny to keep bottled up inside Not sure I find someone dying of a staph infection in their kidneys "funny" Neither funny nor ironic, just cruelly unlucky. And no, we don't need a thread for that.

I'm particularly sorry to see the French number plates go. Apart from the genuine interest in seeing where they were from, you could play bingo with them on long journeys.

They aren't gay. Wtf you got some info on that? They're married to females of the opposite sex. That's just nonsense. SC Where's that parrot again? -
Ive never been in my right mind, id believe!!! He's supposed to have upset her when they hosted Eurovision together by implying her ancestors were Nazis and getting people to place Swastikas in her dressing her room. See, ridiculous. Oh, is that all.

Phillips is already on the list. Speaking of which, didn't you make a post a few months ago suggesting Bhumibol Adulyadej? You really need to pay more attention to who's on the list. This thread isn't for the people who make the DL to find more people, it never says you can't include people currently on the list. It's for suggesting people who may not have been previously thought of. So people who have been on the DL are automatically excluded as we are all aware of them.

I don't know, but this comment had me thinking of ZZ Top for some reason. There's more than one kind of beard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beard_(companion) Yeah, I knew what you meant, but like I said it conjured up an amusing picture in my mind.
