This is a cracker. Homely Smoke Brandy, amaretto, Islay single malt, honey syrup, angostura bitters. The Amaretto is forward, but the Lagavulin stays smokily in the mouth for a long finish. Highly recommended. I might have to make another one now

Robert Plant with Saving Grace last night in Oxford. (50 years since I saw him on that same stage with Led Zeppelin! God I felt old) Superb gig, it's all about the music with Percy. He surrounds himself with excellent musicians and pulls out an eclectic mix of obscure covers and traditional songs. Every one beautifully arranged and interpreted. Accompanied by Suzi Dian who has a lovely voice. We got a few Zep numbers with a fresh spin too. His voice is still powerful and he still has quite a range, although not reaching for those extremes of old, and no need to. Brilliant evening. Go see him if you have the chance, with whichever band he's currently assembled
