"Mark E. Smith was one of the most unique musicians that I have ever heard." Remember that 'unique' means 'the only one of its kind'. So avoid using phrases like 'one of the most unique'. You can't qualify 'unique' - it either is or it isn't. In this case, you might consider words like unusual, extraordinary, singular, unconventional ....

They really should have captioned this "Hello Sailor!"

I've always found him utterly repulsive to look at. As for when he was singing a love song

An unnatural cause is an unnatural cause, regardless of the occupation, lifestyle or habits of the victim.

Just criminally corny, as is the entire song! And it still makes me smile whenever I hear it. -

I voted for Bob Dole.

I didn't pick him either - thought he'd shamble on for a bit yet. Sad. End of an era.

Have a browse through the threads in the Dead Pools section. Most of the deadpools have rules, scoring etc outlined in the first few posts on the thread. Most games start early in the year, but there are a few you can join at any point. Also keep an eye out for any new competitions.
-
Doesn't matter if it's posted a bit later. My thinking is that people might want to read through the thread at a later date. Yes, there's Wiki, but nothing wrong with having an in-house one-stop shop. I don't understand why people are so eager to sneer. Fine to point out a duplication when it appears almost directly below the first announcement, but I really don't see the harm in deaths being recorded in all appropriate threads. Many people don't have the time or inclination to search out and read every single thread.
-
But as I always point out, this is the Dead of (Year) thread, and it should serve as a useful reference source. Therefore ideally every death of note should be listed here, even when the deceased is mentioned in more specific threads.

Really? I am currently here courtesy of Vodafone broadband without let or hindrance. It doesn't, however, allow me to view any images hosted on imgur.

Didn't see that coming.

Strangely no mention of Peppa Pig's resemblance to a cock and ball sac.
