People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

I find it puzzling too but I would refute that last point. The sun is kinder to folk in their advanced years so people often spend their final years in Spain, Florida etc. Could be true. If she died on holiday she could still be in the GRO Index. @Master Obit, anything showing up? -
It’s ridiculous what that man has gone through. Good to see him speaking out finally.
-
Can we report deaths in the main DL Forums section? Especially if they’re not a current pick in a deadpool, such as the case here.

Hollywood Reporter obit for Roxanne. -
I decided not to count Sandy Gall or even film director Joseph McGrath (wiki), as they're not technically actors/entertainers. @YoungWillz Glen Michael! Now there's a name I forgot. I perhaps missed him because he was born in England? Do we know if he lives in Scotland now?
-
Am I correct in saying that Gudrun Ure's death means that Stanley Baxter is the now the oldest Scottish entertainer of note, and the last significant Scottish actor/entertainer born in the decade of the 1920s?

BBC reporter/investigative journo Martin Young (wiki) dead at 76. Telegraph obit. EDIT! Ninjaaaaaad by Willz

B movie actress of the Golden Age Barbra Fuller (wiki) supposedly died this morning aged 102. Edit to her page appears to have been made by her godson, J. P. Sloane (IMDb), who is nearly 82 himself and a former child actor. She was also briefly married to Western movie legend Lash LaRue (wiki, 1917–1996). -
@drol had local knowledge on this one. drol, any idea where and when? Will keep my eyes peeled for an obit.
-
Dene O'Kane (wiki) dead at 61 after fall at home.
-
He divorced his 3rd wife in 1992. The Mirror obit I read didn't say wife, it said partner of 33 years, so I presume he was with her from little before his divorce was finalised with his last wife.

Marquess of Ailesbury (wiki) dead at 98 after falling out of window(!) Was apparently trying to save his cat that had got stuck. His 88 year old widow found him lifeless. Pretty brutal stuff. WWII veteran. His death means there are only 2 living hereditary peers who served now (Earl of Elgin, 100, and Baron Walsingham, 99). There is also one life peer (Lord Christopher, 99). Obits: Mirror, The Sun, Mail NOT a DDP pick this year, so no unnatural death bonus.

Sad times. Just found death info for 2 further members listed above. Colston Chen died in Ontario, Canada in April 2018 (a few years before his more famous cousin Phil). Rupert Balgobin died in 2021 in London. Chen had a memorial online and Balgobin is in the GRO. Was able to verify they're the correct people using Facebook posts. The other 5 members – Fredericks, Griffiths, Regis, Sutton and Wilson – are almost impossible to trace, but I'm going to guess most if not all of them are dead. Art Regis, who played the organ (and later played keyboards in other groups) should be easier to trace but he's not. I don't know if I'm missing something. All I can see is he contributed to a site online over 10 years ago when someone reached out to him for info.

*He To be clear, Ian isn't trans. He's just a weirdo who pretends to be an elderly Tory lady on an alt Twitter account. And to answer your question – nobody knows. His trolling on there isn't even worth it because nobody bites. His tweets literally get no engagement, and on the rare occasion someone does respond, he doesn't interact with them. He's clearly a very disturbed individual, but then we knew that when he was a DL Forums regular.

His grandson deserves a kick in the balls.

Well seeing as she's actually dead I'm going to say it again anyway. *clears throat* 98? Well at least she had a gudrun.
-
At this stage I want her to have died just so I can say: "98? Well she had a gudrun."
-
We're pretty sure it was her listed in SAG-AFTRA In Memoriam. However, because there are multiple people of that name on IMDb there was no way to be absolute certain. Unless someone wants to try and pull up the death record now ofc to confirm it's the same person. Then I can get her IMDb and Wiki updated.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

I’ve produced farts more deadly than the last 5 months. Where are the BIG names? -
LOL. You joke but there are a lot of stupid ppl out there who would have that in their mind as a priority. Also, on Facebook, there seems to be a huge collection of boomers who cannot distinguish between news, fake news, sponsored content, official sources and amateur pages etc. They share anything they read without asking themselves a single question about its reliability. Those same ppl presumably think that “Being Scottish” is like the BBC News page but for Scottish ppl.
-
I saw that. Starting to look like it's a hoax. Someone edited her Wiki page after the tweets and FB posts appeared to say that she died in Campsie in Scotland. That's where she was born, but to the best of my knowledge Gudrun Ure has long since lived in the south of England. Would she really move back there to die?

Hollywood Reporter obit for Stroock. Her daughter kindly sent them a pic of her in her later years. She still looked quite glamorous.
