Congrats to Sir Creep for picking the diplomat Ivan Ivanov, who was the USSR's ambassador to Afghanistan for two months. He died July 11th, 1948.

Robert Preston, with a capital P, which rhymes with D, which stands for dead today in 1987. -
Missed this one at the time: back in February "Sunshine" Sonny Payne, host of the legendary King Biscuit Time blues radio show from 1951 until late last year, died at the age of 92. There was a BBC radio documentary about him in 2013, but weirdly his death doesn't seem to have made it past blues websites and some very minor Arkansas-area news outlets.

Burmese president Htin Kyaw stepping down. He spent some time abroad last year, allegedly travelling for medical care

Gotta feel sorry for DJT Jr, that's clearly a guy who just wanted to go and spend his life fucking D-list reality TV stars with fake tits and then his dad goes and becomes president so he has to be #respectable.

Keep an eye out for Drag Race alum Katya: took a break from drag last year. It's now been revealed that was because she had become a meth addict and had subsequently suffered a heart attack.

RIP, he was a Roman Catholic priest and missionary to the Ottawa and Ojibwe Indians in present-day Michigan, Ontario, and Minnesota. Because he attracted numerous Catholic German Americans to settle in Central Minnesota, he is referred to as the "Father of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint Cloud."[citation needed] -

Is there even any legal basis for getting a super-injunction over the fact you're dead?
-
It was. I just knew that he'd get one within hours, The Guardian has come through with a proper obit now.
-
LaFaye will still be a QO if she has a final book to be published, surely? Best check Publishers' Weekly.

Tax-dodging minimum wage paying multinational with drivers who rely solely on satnavs vs Cockney Wanker-esque racists who know the correct route but drive you three miles extra while pushing the meter up. Also all black cab drivers are police informants.

Wonky Drunkie?

Similarly on a Netflix tip, I watched "Nailed It" (absolute shit, don't bother) last night, and the guest judge was New York's "Queen of Wedding Cakes" Sylvia Weinstock. Only 86, but she looked as if she barely knew what was going on. Maybe add to the very bottom of your longlists.

Thanks, I try. Greg Louganis still has the funniest DDP bio though.

Yeah, I gave someone the wrong Patrick Duffy as well, so eager was I to write a bio for the 80s TV heartthrob.

I just thought I'd been Mandela Effected by that advert because I swear I remember it coming on TV for the first time even though I was less than one in 1983, but apparently the second version of the ad did come on TV in 1991. Don't remember this one though:
