Death Anniversary Thread

Florence Ballard finally escaped the never-ending hell that was her life today in 1976, aged 32 -
In what's clearly the biggest showbiz death of the year, the guy who used to do the voiceovers on Family Fortunes between 1988 and 1999 has died at the age of 66.

No, you are allowed to suck off current DP picks. -

Pint of foaming Ruddles with ol' Bobby Muggs. -
He's a goner, this isn't some Wilko Johnson deal, this is a guy with stage 4 pancan who has finished his treatment and will now have a decent enough quality of life before a rapid escalation into hospitalisation and death within two weeks some time between November 2017 and February 2018.

Probably thread-worthy this one. "Teenage crush" as the subhead?

At least Bracknell is ripped off her tits enough to be entertaining on occasion has a flair for the magical in her prose. Magill reads like someone gave the lass who writes the office newsletter five Proplus and let her get on with it.

Tragic story and all, but has any Inspiring Cancer Blogger been as shitty a writer as Ms Magill?

Sent the scouting staff out to the Hackney Marshes of deadpooling, retired US senatorial updates.

Alleged assassins of Kim Jong Nam thought they were taking part in a reality TV prank show. I mean, it was funnier than Nathan For You.

Couldn't even last a week! Protestants, huh? -
Would have assumed Steele was big enough for a full Reuters obit tbh, rather than having to wait on Brit-tabloid traffic-grabs
-
Looks like he's doing OK tbh.

Surprise to me because I thought she was already dead. Turns out I was thinking of Marianna Komlos.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

What's really weird is that the story is being peddled on Twitter by this guy: https://twitter.com/TheSharkNo1. Presumably he's also the Wiki hoaxer. He is also pushing Michael Jordan dying in a car accident as well, and the account claims to be a fan account for someone who was a contestant on The Chase once. I feel like this is a rabbit hole I don't want to enter. -

Same source also helpfully added Bill Murray's death earlier this month, so I think you should be fine. -
One thing to kill a fat pisshead in Malaysia, another to go to France and murder a student there. Unless this is all a ~false flag~

Chris Sievey, aka Frank Sidebottom, diagnosed with cancer. Never thought he'd be dying before John Cooper Clarke, but there you go.

You just played one of their tracks on the radio? That's terrible. -
The sole winner of the PDC Women's Championship, Stacy Bromberg, who beat Tricia Wright 6-5 in the 2010 final, dead at 60. I think this, technically, makes her the first dead winner of a PDC major, being as all the names from the men's code still walk the earth.

Twitter murmurings saying DDT's premonition has come true?

If it's a good precedent to go by, John Wetton did that quite a few times before he died - stopped tweeting when in hospital receiving treatment for a few weeks, then started again when able to do so. His last tweet was 17 days before his death. There's another big DDP name who has been conspicuous by their social media absence, I noted the other day, but, I've completely forgotten who it was now. Magill?

Here's a photo from November, him hanging out with E-40 and Professor X: Definitely looks skinnier, but two years of inoperable lung cancer skinnier? When you're a chromedome, it's hard to assess the effects of chemo.
