I'm amazed as you are MH, sadly in the UK unless you are a footballer or darts player, I think it less rather than more likely for a qualifying obit. (Ooh, darts players for next year...*makes note*). There are a few more categories: royalty, very old former prime ministers, Nobel Prize winners, ESC winners, Rutger Hauer. The problem with darts players is that the oldest and unhealthiest of the Dutch crop is RVB. Obit assured, but nowhere near death. Dunno, his PL performances this year suggest otherwise.

With season 1 winner Steve Strange and season 2 competitor Lil Chris both being snipped this year, maybe it's time to discuss the "Curse of Celebrity Scissorhands"?

Gonna guess suicide going by his Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/CJHardman/

"Celebrity Rehab" consisting solely of comatose patients might be a goer then.

The curse of dying four months after an interview is done with you, they call it.

I get a "video has been removed by the user" error message when I try to click on SC's embedded video. Maybe it's just not available in my country or on mobile devices...? I see the same error. A few hours ago I watched the video, so something has changed. Of course this can be a personal thing, e.g. because I've been naughty. Video seems to be working fine. I don't get why they all carried on fighting. Unless falling down dead was in the script. Traditionally in wrestling when someone goes down with a legitimately bad injury like that, the referee usually makes a signal to the backstage medical crew (traditionally crossed arms in the air) and they end the match asap, no matter how shoddy it looks. I think the combination of a) the match being in the final minute or so and the fact that the medical crew were apparently dealing with a concussion another wrestler had already sustained that evening is what led to him dying. Because basically dude should be alive right now if he was wrestling for a company that had their shit together.

^^^that video is easily grimmer than both the Misawa neckdrop death or Big Daddy making King Kong Kirk have a heart attack in the ring. Blood is pouring out of his ears if you look.

AND YOU'D BE WRONG because it was actually a botched 619 that killed him.

Perro Aguayo Jr dead at 35 as a result of injuries sustained in Rey Mysterio Jr's first non-WWE match in 13 years. Mysterio was teaming with the former Sin Cara if you want to guess who was responsible for those injuries.

Caught this as well, very well regarded among his peers, a UK obit's a certainty if it turns out to be terminal.

That death kinda fucks the old "they used to be called Four but one of them died" gag.

Shaw Taylor had a Gotcha, he's famous.

Should have tried to cure what's deep inside, instead of being frightened of that thing that he'd become.

That's the one everyone's talking about, yeah.

People talking about their football accumulator coupons. You'd have won £84 if Chesterfield had just held on for a draw would you? Fascinating. The modern day equivalent of your mum saying "ah, if only that had been another £1,000,000 we'd have won a million pounds!" after she finishes scratching off her lottery tickets.

Considering he was #2 on the Drop 40, you'll probably move up to joint 121st.

Just found out Vince McMahon's biological mother, Victoria Askew is still alive aged 95. That's not his step mother who raped him, so she might get a mention on Sky Sports when she goes off.

Yeah, this really does bring up fuck all squared on a search. Although, an Eva England was born in 1909 as referenced in this book, but she doesn't seem to be either a) nobility or anything approaching notable.
