My guess, although probably inaccurate, is that he'll check out around mid-2014. Should be a very popular Drop 40 pick next year and may even take the top spot on the DL.

Probably because you don't have teenage daughters or enjoy masturbating to lesbian cheerleaders.

Been spending a pleasant Sunday in the garden reading through Ray Price's wife's Facebook page. Posts updating us on Ray's condition were nearly daily since he was diagnosed but have suddenly stopped in the past ten days. Looking at this picture from a month ago, I can't think why:

Another large batch of tour dates cancelled, this time due to "food poisoning" from penne with tomatoes. Can you get food poisoning from a tomato? Is that even a thing?

I believe the precedent with Lisa Lynch (whose death eventually did make the papers) is that Tweets from a media organisation do not count. Although whether tweets that were embedded on a media organisation's homepage would....

Here are some words that rhyme with Cory: Gory. Story. Allegory. History. Cardiorespiratory. Obituary.

Here's his last-ever tweet, I think this explains how he died: https://twitter.com/CoryMonteith/status/355785047699243008

He'd spent most of the past year in rehab, right? I'd heard it was painkillers but I don't think it was ever made public. The stress of being a professional merkin clearly got to him.

Well Jon Lee from S Club 7 was cautioned for possession of cannabis in 2001, that has to see him up in the mix.

BBC news app just reported that Alan Whicker has died. No online link yet. Strange he never had a thread on here. EDIT: Link.

Truly one of the least exciting deaths of an actually famous, "mentioned on the evening news" person ever.

tbh, around September time a thread where we all pester TMIB with questions about the rules in order to raise his blood pressure might be a good idea.

I think Yoshida was dropped by a lot of people who thought "well if this cunt hasn't died within 18 months of throat cancer presumably he's in remission?" -
George Best, Paul Gascoigne, Nile Ranger. The three greats of British football, all driven to despair by their demons.

I think this is because the quotemarks around "Superstar" confused Excel. Changed.

This is the obituary that Wikipedia has for Doreen: http://www.burnleyexpress.net/news/doreen-barrett-nee-keogh-obituary-1-4220749 Now while it matches the age of the Corrie starlet, a) why would an Irish actress go to a retirement home in Burnley? Doreen Keogh was married to her Corrie co-star, the late Ivan Beavis. Why would her married name be "Barrett"? I think this is just an over-vigilant Wiki editor not checking their cross-references.

So I take it the Doreen Keogh who died in February last year is a different one? Interesting. It is the same one it seems. However, when OoO sent me the list of celebs with the details back in February, there was obviously no indication then that she had died (and for a year!) and since she was an actress of some note (Corrie, Royle Family) it would have surely have not gone unnoticed... Update: According to this Coronation Street blog dated from last July, Doreen lives in County Wicklow... Yeah, that's where my mate's from. Well, he actually said "the woman who has the fight with Mrs Doyle on that episode of Father Ted where they go to the mainland". http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0449049/ IMDB says she's alive.
-
Weirdly enough, Doreen Keogh, a unique pick up there, was one of the final cuts from my team. A friend of mine's grandmother is in the same rest home as her. Apparently she's lost her marbles a bit but still active.
