Weird that Khalawi's death hasn't been reported outside of Arab press at all, what with his cap record. You'd have thought one of The Guardian's dudes would have chipped in with a blog post or something. Arabic footballers probably the least sexy out there, with the exception of Australasia.

He was The Dog when WCW was really going off the wheels around 99 as well. Seem to remember him drinking from a toilet bowl in vignettes.

Sister Maria Romero, the longest-serving cloistered nun in history, has died at 105. She got thee to a nunnery 86 years ago, and spent 40 years within the confines of the building until leaving it to meet Pope Benny two years ago. That must have been a disappointment for her.

Tell a lie, we're going to use the Swindon Advertiser again to tell you that he's dead. I'm doubting the chance of a national obit, but we'll see.

Mohammed Al-Khilaiwi, the 20th most capped footballer of all time and the left-back during Saudi Arabia's 1994 Cinderella run in the World Cup, dead of a heart attack at 41. If anyone wants to update this post with the last two year's worth of death, feel free. Rene Llense is still with us though.

Can we talk about Thomas Tallis's current health in this thread or do I need to start a new one for him?

Say hello to your new world's oldest person, Misao Okawa: She only needs to last another 26 days to become one of the 20 oldest people ever.

Jill Gascoigne has Alzheimer's.

Radio 4 newsreader Rory Morrison, mentioned on some threads on here that are now locked due to age and thus I can't quote from them, has lost his battle with brain cancer at 48.

Tragically I'll probably be tuning into that. As for what the Crime and Investigation Network is, I'd never heard of it, but apparently it has a regular show called Fred Dineage's Murder Casebook. I can smell the Partridge from here.

Damn, we're even getting the chalkboard out for dead pooling analysis these days, OoO going for that spot as the Jonathan Wilson of cadaver predicting. I'm not going to speak on anyone else's team, but if I can stay in the top five I'll consider that a successful year for me. I rode the fuck out of my luck on the Millwall obituary, but that's been balanced by not getting the Pardee rub. I don't have Nolan either, so if she does move over as her family seem to be suggesting I'll be playing catch up. Mandela, Pran and Jardine should be gone by year-end, from what I understand Metsu should as well. James R Young is a big of an obit craproll but he's one of the thirty highest-salaried CEOs in America and a major donator to the Republican Party, so I'm hoping for at least some media coverage. Like Farmer, he too sold most of his shares last year. Mickey Duff has been battling Alzheimer's for about a decade now, I even know what rest home he's in (which is probably more than he does): Nightingale House in Clapham. Not too far from me, I might pop round one day and see what's popping. Munro is a dead loss pick for me. I heard she was in very poor health and she wasn't doing promo for her new book, but I think the lack of promo was just because she can't be bothered, as this pic taken a few days ago seems to show her in decent enough health for an 82-year-old.

Nelson to take the long walk to the mortuary.

He's still well enough to give interviews.

Cecil's death basically makes it a certainty that most DDP records will be broken this year. We're not halfway through 2013 yet and Triple O already has 12 hits to his name (a record-equalling 13th if Pardee ever obits), leaving him with 18 points to break the points barrier as well. Kate Granger and Bhanu Athaiya better be watching their backs.

Came off the bridle to win this race when most people had written him off.

See when Guy Burgess defected, he got a lifetime supply of vodka and all the underage rentboys he could bang. What's this prick meant to be getting? Bubble tea and a premium membership to one of those Chinese bootleg Facebook sites?

Someone made a mod for some swords & dragons video game based around 1980s Old Firm casuals:

If she had some Dunlop surplus and a petrol can with her this could be over quicker than we thought.

I was helping my parents clean out their attic the other week, you think I could find any fucking stuff from my old school with his face on for eBay?

Deathlist Dreaming
Spade_Cooley replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Dreamt that Mandela had died overnight and then a few hours later, about 11am, the Dalai Lama died. Lama's death was announced live on air by a visibly distraught Ruud Gullit. -
http://www.wrestling...nd-Bobby-Eaton/ He was released from hospital a few days ago and scheduled to have a pacemaker put in. Sounds like another one who could well benefit from DDP's yoga regimen I think he'd benefit more from laying off the fried corndogs and quaaludes.

I hardly think the death of such a huge historical figure is the appropriate time to have a wank... Dunno, if you have them as a unique and they're under the age of 50, it's an appropriate response.
