You can say that, but he's still standing.

Does that get added to or subtracted from his list of one thousand conquests?

    The Graham Slamwich

And, as said upthread, I wouldn't trust a professional wrestler's self-diagnosis if he showed up on my doorstep with limbs falling off claiming he had leprosy. Graham is going to be carnying on his deathbed.

You can't beat a bit of wild speculation......... We should bet on it. With the right odds who knows...this time next year we could be millionaires! Perfick.

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2014

Two policemen in critical condition after a shooting outside the Palazzo Chigi as the new Italian coalition government are sworn in. If Italy makes it through the next six months without at least one serious assassination attempt on a major political figure I'll be stunned.

Yeah, you talk about the marquee roles in cinema and "Shopkeeper in The Good The Bad and The Ugly" is up there with Hamlet or Othello.

Whom Are You Tarring With The Epithet "twunt"?

Thanks, mayne. Only another six months before I'm on the front page of the members list as well. That's when I get to start complaining that this message board was better back in the old days.

I'm going to have one more shot at this Pardee obit before TMIB starts sending faecal matter through the post to me so I shut up. Does this count? Specifically, this bit: I think the issue is that we accept the Guardian's obits that are just news feeds from Associated Press, so do we accept Sky using news feeds from a third party that also uses Associated Press? The story is on the Sky News site, it's fully accredited and has actually been "put" there by a Sky journalist, the question is does it count as it has come via two degrees of separation. Now if anyone needs me I'm just gonna let these straws I'm clasping at go.

Yeah, and I'm eternally in your debt TMIB for your fast response time on that one. Imagine being cockblocked by a deadpool.

    Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

Depends on what part of Sky you're talking about. If it was a brief piece on the main news site saying "Jack Pardee is dead" then that might be acceptable. But it seemed to be tucked away in some obscure part and was just a link to an external site that wasn't even AP. So I thought I needed a bit more meat than that... EDIT: I'm actually quite surprised that the old standby of the Guardian Worldfeed article didn't come up with the goods.. Sky Sports has a TV show called "Total Access" that covers the week in NFL. A mention on there would count, yes? Am I going to have to get torrenting to see if one came up?

Pran's a unique DDP pick for me this year, and from what I can understand from Bollywood websites, he still hasn't left the hospital he was admitted to in late November. With any luck this is the Indian government bunging him the first award available before he carks it.
