CriticalDivide, which other dead pool favourite will you be leeching off when Ron carks it? May I suggest you surgically attach yourself to General Jaruzelski next?

If he's a TED Fellow, he'll get a Comment Is Free obit. My favourite TED talk is the one about how masturbating to internet pornography is rewriting your brain. -
Update from Brian Christopher: Ok, here’s the latest real update. Lauren and I are here at the hospital in Montreal. He does not look good at all. He is responsive to questions that he is asked which is very good. His sedation and breathing support are being lowered slowly right now. He was shocked a total of 7 times at the arena and underwent a balloon stint to open up a clogged artery when he arrived at hospital. Everyone out there needs to say a special prayer for his brain at this point, please. Tests on his brain will not be available until the morning. One of us two will keep all you guys informed as we know more" I think Lawler gets to go onto the 2013 longlists now.

If the Indie fancy doing an obituary for Lisa Lynch, despite her not actually being dead, that'd be much appreciated.
-
Hazel Hawke's entering her tenth year of diagnosed senility, and she's been locked away in high-end care for the past three years at least. Still no signing of dropping off, annoyingly.

Just like to say RIP Terry, great bloke from my childhood watching TV,had a seal for a pet, fucking brilliant, also just found out he had 8 kids, maybe he should've been called Terry Nutsack? Johnny Morris also left Nutkins most of his estate in his will. So while I'm not saying that they were gay lovers, they're both dead so we can't libel them any more.

One I'm sure a bunch of cannier players had pencilled in for 2013, blues singer Maggie Ross has lost her battle with brain cancer at 63.

Fuck me, Balls Mahoney looks terrible in this. He'd get the Sun obituary when he went, I'm sure.

Not only is the line up on the Geto Boys' 1988 LP "Making Trouble" completely different to that on 1996's "Da Good, Da Bad and Da Ugly", but you can use the respective covers to chart the changing faces of hip-hop album covers over the eight-year period

You were in lots of terrible movies, and you weren't exactly good in any of them anyway, but still, pour one out.

Give me Depeche Mode any day. Sure.

I remember Violator records. I wish I didn't. He does get a BBC obit, though.

This was the dude who was the liberal runner to take on Ratzinger in the last papal ballot, right? -
Not really a surprise that an afternoon in Hackney has people contemplating the great beyond.
-
Muppet thread might not be a bad idea if this dude gets a UK obit. "It's time to play the music, it's time to light the light".
-
Well that's Dodgeball ruined as a movie then.

Founder of the much-less famous Artful Dodger, you mean. Enter, selectaaaaaa.

Tony Nicklinson: timewaster. -
Kevin Sheedy diagnosed with bowel cancer. Says there's a family history of it, that it's "not ideal"... one to pencil in for 2013.

Sagan, Gould, Hitchens, Douglas Adams, Linda Smith: all prominent atheists who got a chance to see if they were right or wrong prematurely. Pratchett about to join them as well. Fingers crossed for Gervais.
