Oh, if only I had the time. I'm currently making a decoupage model of my 2012 DDP line-up. Malam Bacai Sanha's coming on a treat.

This is vaguely sinister. The eyes make me feel like it's part of a low-key horror flick.

Yeah, I can only echo what everyone else says TMIB, this shit is heavily appreciated. You have any rough idea what % of DDP participants are posters/lurker around these parts?

This might shed some light I think Stephen Fry might be the only person still living who uses the term poorly to actually mean "a little bit unwell" rather than as a euphemism for "this cunt is gonna be ghost in two weeks". Weird how all Daily Mail "humour" writers use exactly the same editorial voice.

Good. Molesworth isn't funny.

He's dead on Twitter again. I think after you're dead on Twitter five times you're legally dead. Castro and Uncle Phil from the Fresh Prince are tied on four apiece currently.

I can't find a link for that on Sky Sports. It was during commentary of the final.

Awww fuck, how did I miss this one?

According to Sky Sports' darts coverage, Andy Hamilton's father is "very ill". Nice of them not to tell us this before December 31st last year.

Congratulations to Garn2, who takes the inaugural inverse dead pool. Betty Ford and your man off M*A*S*H* were his only 2012 fatalities. The IDP will probably be returning in 2012 depending on when the DDP updates so I can spend a tedious hour working out who the most common picks are for the year. Thanks to all who participated.

THE INAUGURAL INVERSE DEAD POOL Hello there! I'm forgotten rapper Ja Rule, you may remember me from that song where I shouted "WE LIVIN IT UP" over and over again. Well, thanks to improved diet and Barack HUSSEIN Obama's socialist Obamacare programme, celebrities are indeed "livin' it up" more and more, some of them even reaching into the 100s. This can be tricky for a deadpooler, as in order to gain points in this sport, traditionally you've needed people to die. Well... not anymore. Below are the 51 most picked, still alive as of January 17, 2011 celebrities on this year's DerbyDeadPool. All you need to do are pick the 25 you feel are most likely to see out 2011, ranking them from 1 to 25. Everyone starts at 0 points. If your #1 pick dies before January 1st, 2012, you lose 25 points. Your #2 pick, 24 points, and so on and so forth. The person with the score closest to zero at the end of the year wins, and let me tell you I know all about winning, as I took home the Source Magazine 2004 "Phat Tape Song of the Year" award for "Clap Back". ALL ENTRIES CAN BE SEEN HERE Al Megrahi, Abdelbaset Ali, Muhammad Attenborough, Richard Baker, Danny Ballesteros, Seve Biggs, Ronnie Borgnine, Ernest Breuning, Walter Castro, Fidel Cheney, Dick Choules, "Digger" Claude Dawn, Liz de Havilland, Olivia Douglas, Kirk Douglas, Michael Dunn, Clive Falk, Peter Ford, Betty Forsyth, Bruce Franklin, Aretha Gabor, Zsa Zsa Gascoigne, Paul Graham, Rev Billy Hawking, Stephen Healey, Denis Hitchens, Christopher Hughes, Geoffrey Jong-Il, Kim Klugman, Jack Lewis, Jerry Lohan, Lindsay Lynn, Vera Mandela, Nelson Marshall, Penny Moore, Patrick Morgan, Harry Mugabe, Robert Neilson, Donald Niemeyer, Oscar Norden, Denis Philip, Prince Reagan, Nancy Rooney, Mickey Sanborn, Eunice Shamir, Yitzhak Sharon, Ariel Sykes, Eric Taylor, Elizabeth Thatcher, Margaret Wallach, Eli Wing, Anna

I held off on starting a thread for him in case he made the fatal 50, but he got away scot-free from that so fuck it, here goes nothing. If the mods can do the honours with the posts we have so far... Anyway, our man's back on the Twitter after falling silent for a while. He says he had a "blip" over Christmas but says he's feeling "magnifique" now. Prepare for more 140-character mundanities c+p'd into this thread as the year goes on.

Leveie Sans sounds like a great loss to us all.

I honestly don't know why I bother.

Perhaps the list of the dead could use fractions this year if Saif continues to be torn off a strip or taken down a peg, so to speak. Perhaps we can start adding bodyparts together to collect one whole dead person? We've already got Zsa Zsa's leg.

Macnee is one of the few celebrities to have been raised by a lesbian couple. Him and 50 Cent.

"funny satire story"

I think this was based on my suggestion. I thought she was a man for ages as well. Plus she's a Tory peer, so fuck her.

Nah, gonna raise an objection on that one: I remember Randi being on British TV all the time as a nipper back in the 80s, I'm sure he used to do Aspel and Wogan and shit. Plus his endless dedication to trolling Uri Geller, combined with his One Million Dollar Paranormal Challenge, means he's a legit celebrity. Not a "BREAKING NEWS CANCEL EASTENDERS" when he dies death, but he'll get a BBC obituary.

Here's the final 20: Lynch, Lisa (joker) Armstrong, Val Barnett, Rex Bowers, Mary Carter, Gary Dokes, Michael Duff, Mickey Gibb, Robin Hawke, Hazel James, Etta Jardine, Cassandra Jaruzelski, Wojciech Marquesee, Mike Muniz, Faustino Sanoz Rosoman, Leonard Sanha, Malam Bacai Strathie, Lesley Walker, Andrew Woodhead, Chris Yoshida, Masao Lynch, Barnett, Jardine, Rosoman and Walker are all possible uniques. Also, anyone who picked Lee Evans: apparently his brain tumour is benign.

Anyone want to take a punt on who'll take up the 48 non-Biggs/Dunn picks on the 2012 DL then? I'd not be surprised to see Robin Gibb take the top spot, pretty sure that Hitchens will get a run in the first team this season. PD James "feels" like a DeathList candidate as well.
