There's very little talk of Lyndon LaRouche on this forum, understandable being as, like most non-Americans, mine and probably everyone else's knowledge of the guy is "this mad old racist who turns up as an outsider figure in US politics every decade or so". Anyway, he turned 89 last month and white supremacists tend not to make it to their tenth decade. -
Leonard Nimoy has made his last ever appearance at a Star Trek convention. Whether this is related to his deteriorating health condition, a desire to no longer spend his free time with neckbeards or just a ruse to increase his payment to appear at TREKCON2012, who can say.

At least Italy freed the two white defendants and kept the black one locked up though. What a country.

Dunno if this is as offensive as most of notaguest's posts -
are this related up something ? The William Regal Twitter account is probably the finest example of incongruity online, being as there's all these 11-year-old Rednecks messaging him going "REGLE I HOP U WOOP JOHN CENAS A$$ AT SUMERLAM" and in response Regal just talks at length about Northern Soul and 1970s comedian Mick Miller, before encouraging people to follow Bobby Ball.

Apparently the Daily Mail has decided that the stage 2 breast cancer of Senate leader Harry Reid's wife is SEO-worthy enough to dedicate a load of coverage to, so keep 'em peeled.

Further treatment for our Frank. Thankfully WWE superstar William Regal is keeping us updated over Twitter on Carson's health status.

Ricky Hatton "considered suicide after Pacquiao loss" Cocaine's a helluva drug.

She was also, perhaps more germane to her place in pop cultural history, one of the founders of Sugar Hill Records and the person who signed both the Sugarhill Gang and Grandmaster Flash.

BBC already nabbed "You have been watching...." as the obit line. Bad luck MIB.

Now he's saying he will be healthy enough to collect the "Freethinker of the Year" awards at the Atheist Alliance of America Awards on October 8th. And who could turn down the chance to hang out with 1,000 neckbeards in that confined a space?

The problem with notaguest is that he wasn't a troll people could get excited about. A great troll will give birth to 1,000 post threads, not close down each and every single one he posts in with mundanity. -
It didn't twig to me at all that he'd been off Twitter for two months, despite being a regular presence on it usually. Anyway, he's going to be away from the internet while he recovers, so no joy on daily updates of his condition.

How the fuck are Holland, Dozier, and Holland all still alive? -
Could probably do with a thread for jockeys and trainers, being as Michael Jarvis has just died. He trained winners of the 1,000 Guineas and the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, but is best remembered (by me, anyway) for the awesome Anak Pekan, who kept me in beer money during university.

Hitch had a "medical emergency" at the weekend that's caused him to cancel public appearances. This has to be the endgame, surely?

"Three months" plus the bonus month and a bit doctors allow a patient so they get to feel like they're a survivor.... yeah, February next year.

Beginning to feel that Harlan Ellison, like Superstar Billy Graham, wasn't so much as announcing his imminent death as saying "Hey everyone, look at me! Look at me! Pay lots of money to come to the conventions I attend because I might be dead next year I suppose idk"

The deterioration of Matt Hardy continues unabated.
