And now he's dead. Tenth Avenue Freeze Out RIP big man, he was one of the greats.

One for those of us who grew up in the late 90s: Anet Mook, lead singer of one-time "next big thing" act Cay, has been found dead. She was from an era where NME/Melody Maker cover stars who started doing heroin actually fucked their careers up and ended up homeless, rather than the travails of Doherty [see Deathlist passim].

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2012

I believe Stone has a reputation in the music industry for being batshit fucking insane, which explains why she hasn't had a hit for six years.

    Suicidal Celebs

Duncan Bannatyne thinks this is a very nice life, but just not for him: he's out. (note: hasn't actually killed himself or attempted suicide at press time)

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

I thought it was 16, via Josie Grove's death being at that age. I could be wrong though. But yeah, obviously, tragic all round.

Didn't bother watching the documentary as my FM2011 game is really heating up. Anyway, Tezza has received the papers that would that the process of his assisted DEATH.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

I know it's not in the best taste, but we're not here to be good people we're here to spot "celebrities" carking it, so.... can anybody find a date of birth for 15-year-old dying social media sensation Alice Pyne so I know if she'll be eligible for 2011's DDP?

Listened to a quick sampling of their lyrical treasures. Have to say, I'm a fan of "311 Sucks". Seth's death will leaving a gaping chasm in the grindgore scene. He had a voice to sink a thousand ships. I'm currently listening to their inexplicably overlooked gem "I Ate Your Horse", a shocking omission from this thread. Brinsworth House and Denville Hall

There's a that actually features an interview with Penny Forsythe, although she sounds remarkably clear for someone in a retirement home. The only other residents that appear on-screen are at 1:12, but they're not identified. I think that might be Dickie on the left though?

    Alf Pearson

Further Googling brings this up, Alf Pearson turns 101 this year.

    Brinsworth House and Denville Hall

Asked of Penny Calvert, Brucie's first missus in another thread. The Wiki for Brinsworth has been updated recently, and alongside Calvert and long-time DL favourite Richard O'Sullivan, apparently "legendary tap dancer" Steve Clark and musical hall singer Alf Pearson are current residents. By my fag packet estimations Pearson must be close to 100 by now.

Wow, he outlived Irish sovereignty. That's something few of us would have seen coming at the start of the year.

    The Dead Of 2011

Also, allow me a moment's self pity as two people I very nearly entered for the DDP this year have both carked it. South African DJ and conceptual artist Leon Botha is dead aged 26 (no UK obits yet, so I may have called that right) and Indian artist/provocateur M.F. Husain has passed on aged 95 (he gets a BBC obit).

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2012

Here's a definite guaranteed nailed on death for the next few years: former Hear'Say "singer", Emmerdale cast member and occasional Loose Women panellist Suzanne Shaw. My main reason for this knowledge is the subsequent fates of the two other people she worked with on the completely forgotten 2008 reality TV show "The Baron".

I've heard that as well. I guess he slipped away. I hope you thanked him for being a friend. Your obit. Had a heart attack, he didn't re-cov-er.
