Cancer or no cancer, she's getting the Johnny Cash/Ray Charles "shit, they're about to die, make a biopic" treatment.

Some well-written, intelligent, hard-hitting, thought-provoking journalism on the case

All I can really remember about "Diary of a Teenage Health Freak" is that my teachers at school at the time were adamant that none of us should watch it because of it's "adult" content. I think the lead actor in it had some hella-pockmarked, General Noriega/Bryan Adams-esque skin as well. I had her as my first substitute for my line-up.... "terminally ill" I can go with but I couldn't find any other information as to what her ailment specifically was, and when a writer starts using vague "I'm totes dying y'all" shouts in order to put across Serious Political Points in broadsheet articles, I tend to think they've probably got more time than they're letting on (see also: Mike Marqusee, who could have featured on a "Former Trots Who Like Israel" theme team with Hitchens I suppose).

His son is the guy who pays Jordan, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Dita Von Teese, Geri Halliwell and other sets of floating breasts for hire to go to gala balls with him.

Presumably only if the leg is given an obituary in a qualifying news source. Would 12% of an obit suffice? It'd certainly give the poolers a leg up. Alternatively, how about a missing part pool, where points are awarded for each correctly predicted amputated celeb limb? regards, Hein Would you get the "unnatural death" bonus points if the celebrity removed their own body part, like Van Gogh or that dude from So Solid Crew who shot himself in the foot?

According to the WON, this is a treatable form of throat cancer.

Hey, tmib, is there anything the layabout denizens of this forum can do to help you with the entry uploads, what with your ISP problems and workload?

I had this about a year ago. I think http://www.combofix.org/ killed it for me.

Bit of a disappointment for those of you hoping Pete would end us days hitting the talk show circuit and popping up on I'm A Celebrity.

DJL, do you think you could take Cardinals as a specialist subject on Mastermind? -
Macclesfield midfield Richard Butcher has died suddenly at the age of 29, less than a year after the death of Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander. Expect the Curse of Macclesfield articles.... never.

Portuguese fashion journalist Carlos Castro murdered by 20-year-old male model Renato Seabra in a Times Square hotel room, beating him with a computer monitor before stabbing him repeatedly with a screwdriver, while screaming "I''m not gay any more!".

Seen Any Good Films Lately?
Spade_Cooley replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Finally manned up and got myself a Lovefilm account and barred myself from filling it up with, y'know, Another 48 Hours and Remy and Michelle's High School Reunion, so I may be making lots of unwelcome contributions to this thread with films nobody would ever want to see. The 2005 documentary "Street Fight", about mayoral elections in a New Jersey town, is absolutely engrossing, kind of like a mini-figurine version of The War Room. It starts off as the usual "plucky young underdog tries to unseat established politico" deal, but then takes a massive swerve into some sort of quasi-legal underworld of black-on-black racism and vague allusions to organised crime. Spike Lee turns up for a three second cameo making it the first film he's had anything to do with in 20 years that hasn't made me want to smash my DVD player in. -
