    Christopher Hitchens

http://www.slatev.com/video/hitchens-wont-...-day-his-honor/ Was leaning towards just posting this as a "Man, Hitch looks ill" deal, but then I saw the guy who's organising the Hitchens Prayer Day, and man that's one creepy motherfucker. Spitting image of , imho.

    Kirk Douglas

Probably because it has no bearing on if he'll die soon or not. Dunno, I'm sure RA allocates some points for it in his spreadsheet.

    Lynyrd Skynyrd

Gary Rossington's mug shot from his DUI a few years ago kinda looks like an indie album cover circa 2003

    Sarah Palin

Dunno if she'd crack the top 10 here if she got elected though: http://hottestheadsofstate.wordpress.com/list/ Top 25, maybe.

    Pope Benedict XVI

Fuck Tim Minchin, dude looks like a Bo Selecta puppet of Russel Brand.

    Pat Burns

Despite a death hoax this morning, looks like we're in the end game for Burns right now. Dunno enough about hockey to chip in with any puns here.

    The Dead Of 2010

    http://twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie/status/24773120115 Maybe not...

    Kirk Douglas

How on earth does this thread not contain any sly references to Natalie Wood and the concept of no meaning no?

    Death Anniversary Thread

Marc Bolan's conker-picking expedition went awry today in 1977.

    Drunk? Bored?? Psychopath???

Do you think there's more or less skill involved in picking upcoming celebrity deaths during the middle of a world war? Like, if in 1915 I'd filled my team with Rupert Brooke, Wilfred Owen and Walter Tull? Or in 1940.... whoever died in World War II (Glenn Miller? Hitler?)

    Hollywood Possibilities

Kevin McCarthy hanging out with Edie Sedgwick, mid 60s.

    Dead Pop Stars

Technically, isn't still summer until Sept. 21? Maybe we'll just settle for saying that Chinese food made him sick. Meanwhile King Coleman, vocalist on the James Brown Band's "Do The Mashed Potato", has died aged 78.

    Football

Seriously, League 1 teams, sort it out. You're really going to let the Posh go up? Although between Franchise, Notts County, Charlton and the Saints, it's not exactly a division ram-packed with likeable teams.

Charlie Adam doing a bit of deadpool scouting via his goal celebration today: Former Burnley and Preston defender Gary Parkinson "in critical condition"

    The Dead Of 2010

I think they had to, officially, go under "Lyte Funkie Ones" as a bandname in the UK. It's no "The London Suede", tbh.

    Dead Pop Stars

Shame he didn't died 10 days earlier cuz then I could have just posted "He's been gone since this summer" here.

Former Daily Mirror sports photographer John Varley has died aged 76, he was best known for the taking of this picture:

Has anyone done the "Hey, why does Britain's oldest person keep dying, must be a dangerous job? Eh? Eh?" gag in this thread yet? Annie Turnbull dead at 111.

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

Another one for the list of "100-year-old-plus figures of minor note that somehow slipped the deadpool radar": writer Elizabeth Jenkins, who presumably would have the last living member of the Bloomsbury Group, dead at 104.

    Michael Douglas

Could always just email Quantick and tell him BCumAl was behind the Swells pick.

    Deathlist 2011

So I bought a copy of GQ (I know, I know, but I had a long train journey ahead of me) to read today, and apparently our Henry is still using heroin and drinking himself into a stupor most evenings, despite being the wrong side of retirement age, and spent a few months homeless last year as well.
