Melody Maker, Uncut, Classic Rock, and a whole heap of other chinstroke muso publications hack Carol Clerk is now telling St Peter that "the lady at the PR agency specifically said plus one".

Word around the campfire (and by "around the campfire" I mean "from dudes currently schlepping it out on the BBC.com web team") is that the Auntie's obituary team has spent most of the week obsessively polishing up Maggie's send-off. Make of that what you will.

Someone who knows more than me (I only studied media law for a year, how am I supposed to know?) help me out here: if Venables was now to be killed/commit suicide/slip on a banana skin off a cliff while in prison, is it likely that this would now be reported by national media? Previously I'd have assumed not, but if his arrest can be marketed to shift papers... And does this apply for OG folk devil child killer Mary Bell as well? She doesn't strike me as a woman who'll live to see the retirement home.

PA News reporting that Macclesfield gaffer Keith Alexander is dead aged 53. First active football league manager to die since...?

Rumour going around Twitter that Guru has had a heart attack and is in a coma. While this is probably scaremongering bollocks, I thought I'd post about it so I could use the pun "Saline was a popular drip and it still is".

Rabbit season was over for Chuck Jones today in 2002. -
Searched but there's nay sign of a "child actors" thread, so in here it goes: Andrew Koenig, who played Boner in "Growing Pains", has gone missing. Renfro in the making, imo.
