Nergal, frontman of black metal band Behemoth, has inoperable leukaemia. Now play a fun game of "trying to work out if his death would get a Comment Is Free post where someone just links a bunch of Behemoth youtube videos when he dies or not"

Scott Hall back in rehab.

Alleged Moscow Metro bombing mastermind Magomedali Vagabov killed in battles with Russian Army. Can someone who has any idea what's going on other there let us know if this means Dokku Umarov is or isn't gonna get bodied within the next 18 months?

KIDS PLAYING THE DEAD CELEBRITY PUN GAME AT HOME: Simply translate the name of anywhere you could expect to find dead people (coffin, mausoleum, coroners, Clapton) into French, replace the word "swimming pool" with it, and then place the altered bandname between "morelike" and "amirite".

What about those of us who have been stuck on option 3 for five years?

One thing it's probably worth pointing out is that, as a n00b to any established forum (and this one goes back to at least, what, 04? Further?) you have, as I see it, three options 1) Overbearing earnestness, every single post full of some boy scout-ish smiling and nodding at elder posters, never saying anything vaguely controversial or potstirring 2) Act like you would normally, as if you'd been on the forum for the past five years, put your feet up, make yourself feel at home 3) Outright troll the place to shit I think it's usually acknowledged that the ideal route for anyone to take is to go from step 1 to step 2 over a period of time.... I mean, if you come in doing 2 straight away you bring to mind the old adage about the first rule of life being "never assume anyone shares your sense of humour". You can do step 3 to step 2, going from villain to beloved folk figure, but if you're anything less than hilarious you're gonna get boyed off the board asap. So yeah, it's a newbie dilemma. Either be actively tedious or piss everyone off for no real reason.

Looks like the Pukklepop musical festival may turn into an essential scouting trip for deadpoolers, as less than 24 hours after Mr Breen's death, Charles Haddon, lead singer of tipped synthpop act Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, has committed suicide following his band's performance.

Not to distract y'all from the Boddyfizzer roasting session, but Skandor Akbar, one of the greatest wrestling managers of the 80s and probably the most notorious who didn't work the WWF during that period, is dead at 75.

Have a great one, Al.

I just "got" the teamname "And My Name Is Larry".

I think I've finally decided that if I got one free shot at any celebrity, I would punch Michael Cera squarely in the teeth.

Literary critic and, contrary to Wikipedia vandalism, not Mark's father, Frank Kermode dead at 90. A unique DDP pick for Pooil Vaaish.

Former Italian president, prime minister, and believer that Jews did 9/11 Francesco Cossiga has died aged 82.

Given that diagnosis what's he doing on this thread? Ideas and possibilities for August might just about be fair for him. Maryport called this one dead on: "Accordion legend Esteban Jordan dies"

Lance Cade, whose WWE career was repeatedly cut short by battles with prescription drug addiction, dead at 29.
-
Richard Desmond better get a knighthood for that.

That's expecting far too much from someone of my meagre knowledge of HTML! I've been looking around for some inspiration on the new layout. How about something like this? Close, I was thinking something more like this

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

So she's on Fbook as well, if you feel messaging a 23-year-old to ask them if their mother's dead is better than doing the same to an 15-year-old. -

I think the elder daughter is on Facebook as well, although spelt "Kirstie" rather than "Kirsti": http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1099580109 If this is her, then this post on February 10th this year would imply Endersby Sr is still alive -
Guardian obituarist Andrew Roth gets his name in the headline rather than the byline for the first time aged 91.
