Draws etc are usually done as close to the close of entry as possibly. As for others, some invites are in the post, but answers aren't expected. One top deadpooler I expect wont take part (though I'm delighted if wrong) and I respect their view. Others may yet enter in the last few days, though in reality I think we'll have around 25-28 competitors, short of an unexpected last minute surge. (Which is pretty good going for a deadpool outside the DDP imo.) Also, as my maths is my maths, it is nice of other people to keep score on the "bye-line" as it were.

She's not that keen on deadpooling, more of a casual "taking the piss out of how bad I tend to do at it" interest*. And she occasionally suggests picks (Falkholt for example) before the forum brings them up, but she got asked to join the uni one, she had an invite to play the Westminster/Holyrood one, and I have suggested a "combined theme team", but she's not interested, and fair's play. *For example, now and again she'll go "Oh, (famous person here) has died, were they on your list?", I'd say no, and she'd reply akin to the snooker commentators on Mitchell and Webb: "oh, and that's a bad miss!" Anyhow, in 2017, after a few of these, she said with a sN-word: "Have you actually had any successes in that game this year?"
