Nah, horse racing is racing horses. The English are very fond of it. Equestrian is that fancy shit at the Olympics. One step, two step, mortified looking horse puts a hoof up in the air, and so on. The horses do all the work, then the horse rider gets the gold medal. They'd thus go in the Olympics thread. It's allegedly art, while the former is racing. It's all bollocks to me, but they are different.

Previously in Dean Francis's story: An update on that: he was given 4 months to live without chemo. Back in February. Still alive, reliant on all the alternative medicines. 2018 DDP will be won or lost on who makes this call correct, imo.

Fergus is 76 now, apparently. Interesting to see the Record call him a legendary owner when I'm pretty sure they were stirring up the rage in the 90s.

Susan Jacks requires another kidney transplant, according to her Facebook. She had a number of health issues last year too. Anyhow, I was looking for an update on Terry, who last I heard was in a not very good way after his strokes - but I got bored. Her entire page is full of stuff like this:

Cuomo made some news sites but stayed fairly under the radar. It was the double whammy of him and Stuart Scott inside... 48 hours or so that made me realise I needed to take note of these things.

Well my work here is wasted! Well, you know how you said you like to see parallels with former DDP picks. ie who is going to be the Brinson of 2018, or the Bracknell and so on? Well, Cuomo went into hospital for serious heart issues in November 2014 and died on January 1st 2015 - but as it wasn't referenced on here, only a few sneaky DDP teams nabbed him. Noteworthy US politico, contender but never a serious runner for the top job primaries, heart problems in Nov... Loses a bit when you have to explain it.
