That'd be Jesus Jones or Mr C, I'd presume.
-
Hey, it's easily done... err, allegedly.
-
The day after my grandfather. I always liked Monkhouse. And Dinsdale Landen, who died the same weekend! iirc Alan Bates did too.
-
My joker's been set since October. Bernard Hepton of course, who else? About 17 spots are set on my team, with 14 people fighting out for the final three spots.

1-post a link? 2- who? I see no actual news on this, but anyhow, she's one of the more pre-eminent cartoon voice actors. Shitloads of credits here, but she was the Witch in the Bugs Bunny cartoons and the Granny in Sylvester and Tweety. Basically, if you've watched any animated kids tv in the last...sixty years or so, you'll know her voice if not the name or face. Like I did, before DI brought her name up on her years ago.

Which clock are you using? The one where the list always leaks a few hours ahead of midnight.
-
I've been worried about the lack of major Dr Who and pro-wrestling (well, bar Chyna) deaths this year. Calm before a storm.

Thailand couldn't hold back the news of their King for more than a half hour before it was announced elsewhere. Social media and "innocent face" society would keep the news of the most famous woman in Britain secret for about five minutes tops.

BTW, it is interesting that, in thearticle, Carrie talks about the day Cary Grant died, since that is the day DeathListwas born... Also, interesting that she chose to use the word "gaiety" in the section on Cary. Could Carrie be slipping in a little joke relating to some old rumours about Cary? Smoking gun.

He's meant to have gone down hill considerably since his wife died, Hawke. Whitlam didn't show up on the Deathlist till he was 96, I wouldn't bet on Hawke getting anywhere near that.
-
It's too late for them to change it now its posted, but if Forsyth had been their joker, he could have literally been a Brucie Bonus.

We usually find out in about 51 hours from now, give or take a half hour...

As long as their "we listen to the forum" sop this year isn't another Mary Tyler Moore or Gazza...
-
Ah, hello there, Deathray.
-
They were 1st and 6th, respectively, on the masterlist when they snuffed it. 15 lists in now, and I thought we were going to have a shock leader until the last list gave points to our current nominal number one later on, enough to put them back in the lead. As it stands 27 of this years survivors are in the top 50, which is bad news for the current bottom ranking two of those...
-
I'll be looking to see if The Grey Horde puts in a 2017 team...
-
Others have PM'd me extra subs when the reaper has KO'd unforeseen chunks of their team. Adams, Alvarez and Liz Smith were also subbed. I think there was one single solitary sub in the 2016 list, for comparison.
-
Dunno about mainstream - but it's a going concern for sure I'd say the forum for competition has boosted the day to day interest; probs because people at work share their progress with colleagues. I walked into the office not long back and one of my colleagues said to me; "That's Zsa Zsa gone then, she was one of yours wasn't she?" Aye, the wife is not a deadpooler, but now whenever someone famous dies she asks: "Did the Deathlist have them?" First time she asked was, I think, when Richard Attenborough went, and I had to actually show her the front page to prove he wasn't on the list. "That was an obvious one, surely?" said the non-deadpooler.

Debbie Reynolds would have qualified for next years TCS. Only 66 hours left to get a team in. There's forty names within 30 points of each other and the bottom of the list too, so every vote counts.
-
I'm awake. It's a sad one, but clearly the death of Carrie was too much for her, already being frail. RIP
-
Doesn't sound too good for her. Thought she'd have months left, might be optimistic now.
-
I guess it won't even be that many. Aye, but look how many folk picked people who were in open remission. Helen Fawkes still made the 2016 Drop 40, and Ryan Buell is still on twelve teams this year.
-
Oh well, he'll probably be on twenty teams I guess... Most likely cult pick for around 5-10 teams if they live to January 1st.
-
I like it. It'll be interesting to see how it works in practice, but on paper, it sounds a nice new bonus, and plus, its more...inclusive than the random nature of the Lucky 13th bonus.
