Entered a team for the hell of it. An automatic 7 point deduction will swiftly follow due to my long held faith in the Committee's ability to pick Robert Hardy.

Dead George Michael, Innit Peeps

In fairness, she died on December 31st last year. Merle Haggard was a fairly big though, and mostly forgotten in the carnage that was 2016. -
13 lists in. Currently top is sort of a lifetime achievement award (a deathtime achievement award in 2017, perhaps) for an actor I suspect many on here are fairly fond of. I know I am. Second, as it stands, is a Deathlist icon, and only two points separate 1st and 2nd currently. In third, a royal. Still plenty of time to get a list in. Last year the biggest deluge was in this post-Christmas to New Years Eve period.

Beeb released their tribute video on Friday and since - Piers Sellers, Rick Pariff, George Michael... -
Me and my family googled her for health info when the royle family was on the other night. The poster on Ds has been a member for years and her post history suggests she is genuine.Liz Smith needs to stay on DL 2017.She is starting to get to a Clive Dunn scenario where everyone assumes she is already dead. See, this is where you think "Look at all these ill celebs, its shooting fish in a barrel", and then at midnight on the 1st, it's "where's the Queen? Insert Cancer Ridden Person Here? Brady? etc Who the fuck is Grigory Barenblatt?" and so on.

Damn it, the Last Christmas gag was right there and I fecked it up.

Took him to the centre of heaven now.

I was busy most of today and will be tomorrow. Will start planning various teams on the 27th/28th. Bernard Hepton's still alive, I guess...
-
I had a feeling you'd said something like that, but...long day, couldn't be arsed using the search engine. Anyhow, the intent was there...

Musicians tend to be a good source of DDP hits, iirc.

One footballer in my top 30 (probably one of the same if I had to guess?) I'm thinking is most likely a goner by 2017/2018 at the latest, but chances of an QO as it stands are non-existent. It's most certainly Scots who are the biggest drop off from my shortlists. It's like the Indy Ref went for Yes.
-
It's a ploy. The annual Deathlist 50 are read by the Queen every January 1st (she compares it to her DDP team), and she's been getting pissed off at not being there, clearly. "One is more important than this Robert Pirsig person..."
-
Lawler is a far better outlier. In his 60s, heart attack, heart stopped for X minutes, saved by medical staff. Making gags about it within a week. Of course he didn't do drugs or alcohol, and happened to have his right next to a top class cardiac ward.

Just reading about Live Aid there. Apparently Tears for Fears were accused of murdering kids because they didn't take part!
-
Don't think he liked what you're proposin' there. You're in the morgue now, ooooh, you're in the morgue. Now.
-
Paul Bearer's Tombstones. I'm no good with names as I've mentioned before. Otherwise, just go to the "Who should be on the Deathlist" and pick all those folk people mention you've never heard of before. Guaranteed top 20 DDP spot, imo.

At a guess, Abubakar Shekau and pals wont be having much of a happy new year. That is, of course, if you believe he's still alive.
-
Before my time, but of course it was us. Who else could it have been? A quick double check if Shengelia QO'd suggests he did, too.
-
He's been on my shortlist at the very least, so likely with others too. Unlikely to be either unique or troubling the Drop 40, however.

Vesna Vulovic, 67. There are obits but they're in Serbian. But here's Fox. Basically she was a normal 23 year old flight attendant in 1972, when her plane got Lockerbie'd. Pieces of it, and everyone on board, fell 33, 000 feet to the ground. Somehow, and no one knows how, Vulovic survived this with a fractured skull, broken legs and temporary paralysis. Apparently in later life she enjoying watching films with plane crashes, and actively campaigned against Slobodan Milosevic, because when you've already cheated death, why not?

Think so - 2009 was the first, aye? Of course 2015 was the best edition imo.

One of the first Brits in space, never in doubt.
-
If you do, not enough to win on them. So that's one joker in January, then 3 other January hits? Still, this is 9 years into this deadpool, and the subjects never came up before. I can't even recall a single execution hit.

It took 15 minutes to get Jerry Lawler's heart going again and he returned to work. Even made jokes about being an "official zombie". He was a huge outlier though, and also got top class medical attention within a minute of the heart attack. It took about eight heart attacks to see off my grandfather in the end, but he still went aged 68. On that note, his anniversary's the 28th, so perhaps Carrie will head off then.

Well.... that July substitution went rather well.
