Feel free to start one I thought he had, but it seems to have disappeared.

Probably because he is not very well known here. I vaguely knew his name but that is all. Of the films listed in his Wikipedia article, the only one that I have seen is Year of Living Dangerously. From what you are saying, it sounds like he is better known in the UK than he is at home. Definistely not a high profile actor like Bill Hunter. Bill Kerr also had a great appearance in the missing Doctor Who story "Enemy of the World" from the Troughton era.

Raises 2 interesting questions, namely 1) Whether the alleged scandal involving Savage and WWF/WWE in the early 90s will now finally come to light; "Randy Savage was totally fired from the WWE for fucking a 13-year-old Stephanie McMahon" is kinda like the 2000s version of "the original Ultimate Warrior is dead and has been replaced by somebody else" The truth (which I heard had something to do with taking the Slim Jim money away from the WWF) was probably far too boring for people. Sad loss though.

Anne Feeney has a tumour at the back of her head but no TB. Her pal Jon Fromer, a fellow folk singer/songwriter, has been diagnosed with stomach cancer though.

This is all he deserves for deserting the Great Leader. This one about the same guy?

Bloody hell, I'm not very good at this. Apologies to fans of Danny Baker and Gazza at the current going jinx rate.

Bob Block, writer of bizzare kids favourite Rentaghost and other things, died last month. He was also sole writer for Clive Dunn's Grandad. Didn't see it elsewhere via search engine.
-
He's apparently dead, according to CNN and possibly Obama in a upcoming speech here. BBC reporting it on BBCnews24 too.

I'd always assumed that Mervyn Pinfield got the "autocue invention" award with the Piniprompter of the 40s/50s. Similar time frame, and a damn site easier than idiot-boards!

Jeez, my heart did a substantial jump on seeing this thread bumped. Ray is still writing best I know, an inspiration to all writers!

Dreadful news. Stunned. First some pals told me. Then a pal who worked on SJA. Then some mutual pals. Then DWM. Then the BBC. And I'd hoped it was a hoax too.

They look so cute in that mug shot, right after they assassinated the poor Mr Fiszman.

msc replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
Given the guest was on the last page, for a second there I was wondering what Davey Jones had done to get all the hate! -
Sad. He was great in Rope and Strangers on a Train. I notice you have Jennifer Jones on your list.I hate to break the news, but she died just over a year ago! Case of mistaken identity. This Jennifer Jones is a Canadian curler, and I can't for the life of me remember why she's on my list now. Premonition risky pick or something.

So where are the denials? Her publishers, HarperCollins, have acknowledged her death and paid tribute to her. Well, just because her family, her publishers, the Guardian, other press folk, her friends and Neil Gaiman claim she is did...is clearly not proof enough. When her body is cremated, it could be someone else. Given it a week and she'll be spotted working in a chip shop in Croyden.

FAO guest doubters. A brief search shows up 11 newspaper obits including The Granny link Falk linked to above, and mention of her passing from several close mates of hers. Call me cynical, but I think it's safe to assume she has gone to see the Norwegian Blue.

Ian Brady.

Sorry to hear. We lost our oldest gerbil here at the start of the month, and he is terribly missed. They are wonderful things, rodents.

Over four years on and all nine of Banshees Scream's bold predicitions remain obstinately still alive . However General Jaruzelski is in hospital yet again with heart problems and might do well to see 2011, let alone 2012... Now General Jaruzelski is back in hospital with pleurisy. It wont kill him, but these things just keep adding up. Though, according to the Polish, it's not looking too hot for him.

I've gone for Chapman Pincher as he is old and I hold a grudge against Spycatcher and his cronies.

This is extremely typical. Not only is she not on any of my deadpools, but she ranked high in this. Sods law.
-
Typical, you think someones on the way out for years, then you stop thinking about them and they pop off.

That's more than a bit obscure! Even as someone who follows it quite closely, if Humperdink hadn't managed Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania IV, I wouldn't even have heard of him. (I am aware that sentence will make no sense to approximately 99% of deathlist forumites.)

You sure about this? There's been no mention on any wrestling news sites, at least not that I know of. Aware that he has some form of liver disease Wrestling Observer. Herb has pretty much a near 100% success rate when it comes to tell you who's about to die. Still annoyed that he only got around to mention that Jack Brisco was dying two days after the 2010 DDP deadline as the fucker got a Sun obituary. Sir Ollie has died.
