Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2010
DevonDeathTrip replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Test your reaction skills. Not Welsh Porn I managed an average time of 0.179 seconds and will try again a bit later after drinking copious amounts of vodka in the name of research. -
Not sure what to think of that. Seems plain as day to me. The Brian Harvey thread is, naturally, the place to find more discussion on evil reptillian shape shifters.

Alfredo Di Stefano is back in hospital "suffering a low to moderate cardiorespiratory descompensation"

Dead of a heart attack at the age of 40. Her family are alleged to have smuggled large portions of fish, chips and fried chicken to her (specially strengthened) hospital bed in the weeks before her death. She was only 5 feet tall, that, combined with her weight of 45 stone, gives her BMI of 130.1...anything over 30 is considered morbidly obese.

This is very sad news, but Alex Higgins did remarkably well to reach his sixties, he must have been an inspiration to chronic and unrepentant alchoholics everywhere. I personally think he was cruelly overlooked for an MBE in recent years. Everyone knew he was dying and, despite his many, many flaws, he deserved some sort of official recognition for what he had achieved.

Meanwhile, in Texas, Derrick Jackson has been executed by lethal injection for bludgeoning and slashing two opera singers to death in 1988. Maybe he was more of a bluegrass man.

Minimalists (and other classical composers/musicians)
DevonDeathTrip replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
Obscure minimalist music is making a comeback with young people in search of a new way of getting high. Digital drugs, anyone? I've just tried some and I'm distinctly unimpressed. -

Contador. Killing Joke or The Jesus and Mary Chain?

Multiple killer William Garner was executed in Ohio today. His last meal was quite a feast: I'm really not sure I'd enjoy such a large meal so close to my execution. I think, perhaps, I'd be more likely to enjoy a light snack with a double brandy. Do any Deathlisters have a preferred last meal option?

Dead, according to IMDB.

No sign of Bruno these days, so it'll have to be me who posts that alleged poet Tuli Kupferberg is dead.

According to his frends "Dick Clark is dying and won't make it until Labor Day": www.globemagazine.com/story/523 Treat with caution because Globe Magazine makes the National Enquirer look classy.

Fascinating Creatures - Squids
DevonDeathTrip replied to Godot's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Cephalopods everywhere will possibly rejoice at the death of noted physiologist and fervid squid dissector Professor Richard Darwin Keynes, the great grandson of Charles Darwin. -

It's all a bit like Rambo: First Blood, apart from the fact that the leading protagonist isn't a deranged war veteran, doesn't have access to any explosives or machine guns, isn't wearing a ridiculous looking bandana, hasn't burned Rothbury to the ground by setting fire to a petrol station, has hardly killed any people, hasn't taken down any helicopters, nor is he likely to be reprieved and sent back in to 'Nam to rescue his old buddies. Otherwise, the similarities are uncanny.

I believe he will be taken alive and uninjured. He's shot just three people and even then managed to kill only one of them. He's hardly Rambo.
