Ruth Ford cut her entire family from her will by leaving £5.6 million pounds to her butler instead. Hell hath no fury like a woman (or man) who has been financially scorned!

dead Doris Eaton Travis - 103 Years Old
DevonDeathTrip replied to Undertaker2007's topic in DeathList Forum
Doris Eaton Travis is dead, at the ripe old age of 106. Going by the photos of her taken this Easter, she was still deriving some enjoyment from life. -
There's been a bloody police and customs roadblock near my house all day today. The bastards are randomly checking drivers for illegal diesel usage and have caught many of my friends and neigbours. Luckily I had a tip off and had to drive a rather circuitous route home to avoid the marauding taxraising forces of UK Plc, but's it still been very inconvenient. I looked at the official price of diesel on the way home, it is probably financially more prudent to risk getting occasionally caught and fined for using agricultural diesel than it is to spend that much tax every time you buy the official stuff.

Lady Jakobovits, a big cheese in Britain's Jewry, is seriously ill. (Actually, cancel that. She'd already been dead for three days when I made that post.)

UK General Election 2010
DevonDeathTrip replied to Lady Grendel's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Are you forgetting one Mark Oaten? It's my understanding, and I have this on good authority, that at no stage did he remove his vest or underpants. Surely he had to remove his underpants to shit on that rentboy's chest? The term "glass ceiling" is usually a metaphor which applies to women who are prevented from ascending the career ladder. In Mark Oaten's case, the glass ceiling existed in a rather more literal sense, for that is what is lay underneath, while his hired help did what he was paid to do on the other side of the glass table. I am not sure that Oaten reciprocated the favour and may therefore have kept his underwear on during the whole sordid scenario. Perhaps Godot will be able to provide us with some further clarification. -
I always meant to reply to this post MPFC. I was often reminded of your query as the venerable Rob Edwards just got better and better for Exeter after a very dodgy first few months. This Saturday is likely to be his final game, the rumour is that he is going to hang up his boots for good. The match will be a relegation decider; beat high flying Huddersfield and we stay up, lose and League 2 awaits. The gloomy spectre of relegation and a Tory government by Sunday is almost too much to bear. Rob Edwards has been a fantastic asset for our club and he scored the crucial goal which gave us league football again. In truth he was far too good ever play Conference football. It would be wonderful if he could contribute just one more composed preformance to help us defy the odds and beat the drop. He has gained his coaching badges while with Exeter, should he choose to return to his distant northern homeland, I can think of no finer candidate to one day manage Carlisle, leading them on to ever greater glories.

Retired escapologist's assistant Dorothy Young celebrates her 103rd birthday today. She is the last survivor of Harry Houdini's touring show, which came to an abrupt end when Houdini died of peritonitis in 1926. Here's some grainy taken of Mrs Young at the "2008 Official Harry Houdini Seance".

Don't worry. I generalise with all religious nutters. Not just the Halibuts. Er, I think Kiss are actually a Jewish group, not that they're very orthodox. Are you feeling OK Windsor? Edit - I've just realised what you were on about and you had simply quoted the wrong post. I was massively confused for a minute!
