Utter tosh. If half of the worlds leaders were like him, they would simply be pushed over by the otherhalf of leaders. Besides, he is a weirdo. You should read his book, Windsor. It makes a lot of sense (or it would if it was in English)

I've been thinking about mad bastards as well. Dean Karnazes is an ultra marathon runner who, according to his Wiki page, once ran 350 miles in 80 hours and 44 minutes without stopping. Interview here. Surely that must be unhealthy?

Janez Drnovsek seeks the meaning of life Despite picking him for my DDP, I hope he survives and prospers. The world would be a lot better place with more leaders like him. I think he'd be a good DL candidate for next year

More non league football deathly stuff: Ian Crawley, who scored winning goals at Wembley in two FA finals, has beaten (it says here) pancreatic cancer, only to face succumbing to motor neurone disease. Sadly for Deathlisters, the FA finals were the FA Vase and the FA Trophy, and the clubs he scored for were VS Rugby and Telford, so I doubt he'll get a UK obit.

The Unibond League or death, that is bad news for Scarboro- and it could so easily have been Exeter City a couple of seasons ago. As a club owned by the supporters the Grecians have made great strides financially over the last few years, we've gone from having millions of pounds of debt to having no money at all. That's progress. Having been to most home games this season, I'm hoping to finish in style by going to the new Wembley Stadium to watch Exeter beat Oxford in the play-off final. I can dream. Remembering this is a death forum, but keeping it non league, Stewart Vaughan, captain of Dorking FC, has died of skin cancer

Now, that's got me thinking. A while back we had a thread about whether a Belgian could make the Deathlist. After much discussion - there were at least 12 posts - we kinda came to a consensus that every nation on earth could have someone on the list because heads of state, at least, would get a broadsheet obit, even if they were - like - Tongan or summat. But, I wonder, if we exclude famous incomers buying homes on Britain's islands, how many of those said islands have a native famous enough for the DL? I mean, Evelyn Glennie is from Islay so some definitely count but......could a native Manx person, other than Handrejka, make the DL? Actually I'm English. I think I've mentioned Sir Frank Kermode before and there was the late Nigel Kneale of course. Roy Dotrice and John Savident were born in Guernsey. I'm not sure about the other islands. Not exactly famous, but I would expect Norman John Gillies, the last surviving person to have been born on St Kilda, will get a mention when he goes. Also, Norman Lamont was born in the Shetland Islands.

According to that bastion of truth and good journalism, The Daily Express, Simon Mann, buddy of Nick Du Toit, currently jailed in Zimbabwe, is close to death "Mann, a former Old Etonian and SAS officer, was last week revealed to be suffering multiple organ failure in his cell in the Zimbabwe capital, Harare. He is also said to be going blind, and has a life-threatening intestinal condition caused by poor diet."

Bobby Robson gave an inspirational pre match speech to Gretna this afternoon, Gretna lost 0-2. Here's a photo of him taken this very day: The man standing to his right, is none other than Brookes Mileson, who I believe has his own thread somewhere on this forum.

The point wasn't to hold some sort of moral authority. As a heathen and hypocrite, of the highest degree, I wouldn't dare insult your intelligence with such an attempt. Suffice to say leaving the UK is enough to qualify for "Somewhere Better" as this really is a rampant shithole. Bye then.

Seeing as Mick Jagger's dad's death was reported in the UK press, I feel it is only fair to mention that Keith Richard's mother, Doris Richards, is in a private hospital suffering from cancer. She became sick ten months ago and her condition has not improved. By all accounts she is not too impressed at her son's ash snorting revelations.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, 87, former top man of Israel's Sephardic Jewish community and leader of the ultra-Orthodox Shas party in Israel's Parliament, has very serious heart problems. In a recent rare public appearance, he named his successor: I'm still trying to fathom the hidden meaning of the following statement: I think he should get a UK obit, but I'm often wrong.

Don't ever go to China, Windsor. I don't think I've slagged off the Chinese. Have I? Well not yet anyway... Sorry W, I was just thinking that you're so full of bile, you might get put in a cage so the Chinese can extract it, like they do with bears.
