They could still shoot him: ""Obscene acts with a child" can lead to 12 years imprisonment while child rape carries the maximum penalty of death before a firing squad. A police officer in Vung Tua said: "Having sex with a 12-year-old girl, regardless of whether he had her consent, is still considered child rape under Vietnamese law."

Sir, that's no way to talk to a decorated war veteran! I'm not gay - I fathered two children by my Vietnamese partner, Lon Suk.

Have a great time - Motorhead was the best live gig I ever went to, followed by the worst cider and heavy metal hangover ever.

It's amazing what a bit of rioting in the suburbs can do for someone's health and state of mind. -

Jean Marie Le Pen, the infamous French Fascist is 77, looks overweight and generally unhealthy. One to keep an eye on. There is also the outside chance he might get shot by somone he has offended. -
A doddery old woman!? How dare you sir! I'll have you know I'm a Vietnam Vetran. I was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Spleen.

According to the news he had a massive heart attack at the weekend - so I couldn't have seen him in Sainsburys on Monday. It must have been the Monday before.

I am rather shocked to read about the death of Ted Wragg - I saw him in Sainsburys in Exeter on Monday and he was looking fine. A sad loss.

I wonder what happened to Poppet - I enjoyed our frank exchange of views about Mr Doherty. Perhaps she has seen the light and turned in to a Motorhead groupie...

They didn't look after this foreigner very well: German national Gerhard Eugen Nershz died on 17 March. The authorities said he had died of "cerebral malaria with complications". He was transported to hospital from the prison some hours before his death and people who saw him reported that he appeared to have severe injuries caused by torture on his hands and feet He was arrested at the same time as Du Toit. -
He might be suicidal, after all he has lost two jobs, two mistresses and one child that he thought was his in the last year. Fact for the day: David Blunkett's father died after falling in to a vat of boiling water.

Er, King Fahd's passing must have escaped my attention. As for Prince Philip, he might be in very good health but he is in his 80s and still goes carriage racing, a lethal combination in my opinion. -
