Me? I'd chop it in to small bits and sell it to a cat food company. It's always worked for me so far

Think Mr B's eyesight probs might be linked to his diabetes.

The Tongan Ambassador's car in London has the Registration Plate: 1 Ton - rather apt considering the size of the king's girth!!

Yes, that's it! Thanks DWB I'll sleep better tonight.

I could have sworn Alan Bennet died several years ago. Who could I be confusing him with?

I heard that Prince Andrew was Golf Alpha Yankee these days

I was late for a very important meeting at work the other day. The reason?.... I was busy reading the Pete Doherty thead.

Mr Thorpe was not one to shun the company of young men until very recently.... I should perhaps add "allegedly" here. -
I would like to think that Lemmy will last a lot longer than that awful Pete Doherty.

If he's in £300 000 of debt, I'm worth slightly more than him. You missed a comma, an apostrophe, a capital letter and a full stop in your last post. You really should ask your teacher for some extra lessons or switch to a science based subject. You were right about the sick bit.

Jesus Christ, I've seen it all now. We should call on the Secretary of State for Education to resign, based on this evidence.

Oh Poppet Some day when you've finished your GCSEs, you will look back on these posts and squirm with embarassment. (By which time Pete will be well and truly dead) Try listening to some proper music like Motorhead.

Overheard in pub t'other night that Jeremy Thorpe former Liberal Party leader who lives locally, doesn't have long left. Riddled by Parkinsons Disease and very depressed, is now totally housebound. Should be a good bet for 2006 methinks. -
I'm going to see my favourate Mongolian Throat Singing Goth Band, Yat-Kha on Sunday night, they do some bloody weird early Pink Floyd covers.

A poem by Mr Garfunkel: Shot from guns, I disembark the world, dropping digits from the urban population count: from ten million London (8 figures) I jet to Lyon (7), train to Chambéry, where I stay the night in the 6-figure town. Then the morning train to Bourg St. Maurice—5, and taxi to Les Arcs, modern ski spa for some thousands; in the Hotel Cachette—3, I sign my name amid the lobby population (more than ten) waiting to view the moun- tains from my room... It is midday, bright and brilliant. Just the three of us. Les Arcs, France December 1983 I am not a poetry expert, but to me that's bad, really bad.

I had a premonition about Pete's death the other day and it wasn't nice. But I thought I'd share it just for Poppet. Picture the scene:November 2005. A cleaner opens up the toilets of a busy East End pub the morning after the night before. When she can't open one of the cubicle doors, she looks over the top to see the greying corpse of Mr D slumped over a toilet bowl with a needle stuck in his groin. Before notifying the relevant authorities she sneeks a photo of the said corpse on her mobile, which becomes an iconic image of the future. You read it here first. Yours ghoulishly DDT

Just to fan the flames a bit more, didn't either Peter or Paul get done for kiddy fiddling?
-
I'd say you were correct in that assumption, apart from the little brat bit. Missing you already. Not.

Good point Sir and well made!

I alluded to Kate's drug use on this very thread on July 12, I'm suprised the media took so long to pick up on it.

Er, Easy Living, always liked the organ solo on that one.

I hope Bob Geldof chokes on his own self importance soon. Vicious but fair I reckon. DDT

I always thought the amyl nitrate soacked orange was found stuffed in a different oriface. A man in the town where I used to live managed to drown himself in a water butt in his garden during some auto - erotic asphyxiation ritual. At the inquest, his next door neighbour disclosed that he had rescued him for a similar situation 25 years before. Some people never learn
