I've honestly never heard of this man. However, this time, even my own family are giving me abuse for my ignorance and not only that, but @Paul Bearer knows who he is as well. Obviously life is passing me by, but I can't believe the rest of humanity seems to watch Come Dancing now.

Confused about why the cops are digging up Nicola Sturgeon's back garden. Although...there was something about the SNP missing 30,000 members. -

Why hasn't anyone from Fleetwood Mac died yet? It's not right and proper for an iconic 60s group to have a 0% death rate. The three mad guitarists, Spencer, Green and Kirwan all live, Fleetwood and McVie are still plodding along, Steve Nicks survived taking enough drugs to kill a whole girl band, not even any of their many less illustrious former members have kicked the bucket. Suggestions for the first one to tango in to the goodnight? I think it will be Danny Kirwan, who was living as a vagrant at one point, but is now believed to be spending his days in warden controlled sheltered accomodation.

Meanwhile, news from the - seemingly thriving - genital nullification subculture, or 'Nullo' for short Man 'filmed himself castrating other men' so they could appear on his 'eunuch maker' website as 'secret society' face trial .

Jon Bruce, a legend of the Sheffield Eagles rugby league team and, latterly a new signing for my Deathlist Cup squad, has succumbed to cancer, aged just 51. Aside from a tribute on the team's site, he hasn't seen any other obit action yet.

And I get to post this incredible scene again. I believe this was Blake's last performance before his murder arrest.

Maybe we should switch our attention to finding out who the Cornish Republican Army's wannabe suicide bomber is. -

Sheep farmer Joss Naylor MBE, more renowned for his fell-running exploits, is 87 today. He was still running daily until he had a stroke in December 2021. A very tough man indeed, but I thought I'd put his name out there as he has only been mentioned once before on these forums. -
I must say, her partner's comment in an interview today that he is "a hundred percent sure" she isn't in the river was an interesting choice of words.

I would be happy to see the drop 40 bonus go altogether. Created with the best of intentions, but the... 'groupthink' (is that the right word?) it inspires is a bad thing in my opinion, as it is an antidote for more considered and independent thought.

I understand that Angela Piper suffered a serious stroke a few months ago.

Budget cooker Jack Monroe, no stranger to taxing mental states, not having the best of weekends. I hope she's ok. Her successful campaign last year for supermarkets to price their economy foods more fairly hugely helped those most in need.

Absolutely, he was huge part of my jingle-jangle, folkie, acoustic soundscape. I also found out recently that he came up with the opening riffs for the Grateful Dead's Playing in the Band. Had he known about it I'm sure he'd have been delighted to outfox the DeathList by a couple of weeks

He seemed fairly chipper last week.

Lots to ponder over here. Reclusive Yorkshire Japanese family, who spoke their own private language, embalmed their deceased sister - a Cambridge classics graduate - with surgical spirit and refused to believe she was dead, even as she entered an advanced state of mummification -
I've succumbed to temptation and started a new thread for our ailing Princess.

I'd like to play please. Always a sure sign spring is coming, when I'm barrel-scraping on Twitter for comatose Polynesian minor political figures.

One of the few celebrities I've spoken to - Gianluca Vialli came to the Exeter City vs Chelsea friendly shortly after signing for them in August 1996 and was happy (if slightly bemused) to talk to me about his home town of Cremona. A lovely man and a great footballer.
