There could be a rupture before the rapture.

Listened to a quick sampling of their lyrical treasures. Have to say, I'm a fan of "311 Sucks". Seth's death will leaving a gaping chasm in the grindgore scene. He had a voice to sink a thousand ships. I'm currently listening to their inexplicably overlooked gem "I Ate Your Horse", a shocking omission from this thread.

Alberto Fujimori - now serving a twenty five year jail term - has been hospitalised, amid rumours he may be pardoned because of his deteriorating health.

Thanks for pointing that out. The answer is: because, for no particular reason, these fora were configured such. Set to "Show all" for all fora now. regards, Hein Cheers! Now I can dredge up old threads that no one wants to see again catch up on old posts I may have missed. Nice to see that you're still posting CP I was worried we might have lost you altogether for a while. I was only thinking of the CPDP the other day. I don't suppose you'd consider reviving it? I always liked the format of one proper and one theme team.

I've found a great compilation of motorsports crashes from the good old days of yore, long before helmets, seatbelts and basic fire safety conspired to ruin the entertainment. It's amazing how many of the drivers thrown out of their vehicles manage to get up and scamper off. http://vimeo.com/20247765

How many stages are there? If there are five, he's on the ropes but if there are 10, well he might just go the distance. He put up a brave fight, but the Grim Reaper has landed the killer punch. Genaro Hernandez Dies at 45. Well done to the 11 teams who kept the faith on the DDP. I think this means Wormer, He's A Dead etc, etc is now in second place.

Drummer David "Frankie" Toler, who thumped the tubs for the Allman Brothers Band (albeit long after their prime), the Gregg Allman Band and the Marshall Tucker Band has died at the age of 59, having been unwell for some time following a problematic liver transplant. Southern Man Gone West

Brian Haw's peace camp celebrates it's tenth birthday this week. Sadly, the man himself isn't there, nor able to give the press any comment on this momentus milestone. His friend and fellow protester Babs Tucker has given a confusing account of his current predicament:

Judith Kerr, now aged 87, was interviewed on Radio 4's Front Row programme tonight. She sounded pretty sprightly - lots of hearty laughter and banter with host Mark Lawson - and is embarking on a new children's book about a gang of great grannies who dash about on a bus preforming good deeds. It didn't realy sound like her grip on life had loosened that much.

Jim Stynes, obviously not a man to let anything as trivial as brain cancer get in the way of his showbiz commitments. Tuesday: Stynes undergoes surgery to remove several more brain tumours. Friday: Stynes belts out "You're The One That I Want" in a duet with Olivia Newton-John at a charity fundraising concert

I don't think it's going to be very long now. Dr McPherson can no longer make public appearances and was too ill to travel to accept a lifetime achievement award from the British Medical Journal this week (they're a bit like the Oscars for doctors) Her award was accepted on her behalf by, er, Hugh Grant! Dr McPherson has died, according to Twitter.

Frankly, I don't fancy his chances of cheering on his closeted wurzel diving boy to 2012 Olympic gold, having seen this documentary. Tom Daley's dad died this evening. -
It looks like Jeff Conaway's doctors are to reduce the impact of his carbon footprint by unplugging his life support machines any time now.

Lurpak "Spreadable" , a product which is surely in contravention of the Trade Descriptions Act . It has the malleability of granite and my lovingly prepared wholemeal loaf (baked and sliced with my own fair hand) has been destroyed. Sometimes it's the little things in life which really make me fume.

Glaswegian gangland killer Raymond Anderson, 49, has survived a knife attack in prison. Mr Anderson is 3 years in to a minimum 35 year sentence and clearly not universally popular. However, I'm not sure I'd like to start a fight with him.
