OK, if you say so. So what does anyone think? How the hell did he predict those numbers? Depends how live it actually was...

Windsor, I'm worried you might have me on "ignore". Ah - my mistake. I must have missed your earlier post. Apologies

    Dominick Dunne

Thought I would start a thread on Dominick Dunne as I can't seem to find an existing one. Dunne is 83 years old and suffering from bladder cancer. He is a writer and investigative journalist. There was an article published recently where he said that the 2009 Oscars would probably be the last ones he'll see. It was also a Times source, so it looks like he will get a proper obit when he pops his clogs. I think there is a possibility that he may last into next year as he is still attending functions. He is, however, on my DDP...

    Susan Atkins

Why not leave it to the Scottish Assembly.... Tut tut - Assembly? We don't have an Assembly...we have a Parliament. Just like we don't have an Executive. The SNP spent £2m back in 2007 rebranding themselves as a Government. Besided it wasn't the Parliament who let al-Megrahi go - it was MacAskill and his demonic boss Alex Salmond. [End of Rant]

Scotland is struggling to pull herself out of recession. She has just embarrased herself as a novice on the international stage, but this is the right time to debate a referendum on Scottish Independence. Two weeks ago Kenny MacAskill made his own mind up on the Lockerbie bomber...then practically slagged off the Westminster for not telling him what to do. Time for independence? I don't think so. Oh yes! And this. Having done higher history what they have done there is take a subject which is regarded as boring by many, and make it even more boring! There is no way you can make William Wallace interesting in a higher. I did my higher on Germany 1815-1919. Much more interesting than any Wallace sh*te...

    Abdelbaset Al-Megrahi

His health is said to have 'deteriorated sharply' today. Looks like my prediction of the 10th October was way off... (hopefully)

    Michael Jackson

I'm waiting for the official autopsy/inquiry/investigation to be finalised after getting my hands bitten off about killing Mehsud off before he was dead, or whatever. Depending on when that will be though. I'll weigh it up, but like Brad Renfro (who also had posthumous points added), the points are a-waiting to be a-warded before long. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8233250.stm So what you are saying is that should be awarded?

    Death Anniversary Thread

Its 70 years today since the Germans began their attack on Poland, triggering the Second World War. A good few people died as a result.

    The Dead Of 2009

Simon Dee has died aged 74. He was apparently one of British television's biggest personalities in the 1960s.
  19. I don't understand. They obviously have televisions - so why? Edit: I think one is about Peter Sellers (basing that on a film I watched earlier on in the week).By the way, his second wife the actress BrittEkland was diagnosed with osteoperosis in 2004. Did the sand woman win the show?

    Edward Kennedy/Curse of the Kennedys

First they were criticised for taking too long. Now they are criticised for acting too fast. There's just no pleasing some people.
