She will have the party line which is that she says "The Prime Minister has recognised that he made an uncharacteristic error of judgement and has apologised" then follow it up with a selection of weasel words about how much veterans are valued before making a point about Labour not being trusted with the security. She will probably be aware that she is also fighting for the seats of her colleagues and this could effectively be an application for the Leader of the Opposition position if she is still in place after the election -

Is this a principled objection to the Bastardisation of South American history by ALW or aggravating rejection of what should be an anthem for this site? It contains the fantastic line "Falling over themselves to get all of the misery right" I always thought Morrissey missed a trick by not providing us with his cover version of that Boney M song....... -

The electoral calculus list is ranked according to the predicted difference between the Labour and the Conservative vote. It does not take account of the presence of third parties. They currently have Reform polling at 14% in Portsmouth North which is why they are calling it for Labour. I think these figures will change as Polling Day approaches but even if all those votes go from Reform to the Conservatives then Penny is not out of the woods yet -

On the electoral calculus website this seat is number 326 on Labour's list which means if they want a majority this seat needs to fall These things are not always linear so Mordaunt's incumbency and local popularity might be enough to buck the national trend and keep her in her seat -

Looking at the songs that qualified from the first 8 years of this decade. The only artist to get more than one through so far is David Bowie and you could argue that he has four (as two of the others are with Bowie penned songs) This round no research is needed as so many of these are on my playlist. Lucky for you it is adult me that is voting here and not 9 year old me otherwise I would probably be giving The Barron Knights and The Dooleys points -

I love the irony that the woman who sang of the dream sapping drudgery of being a wage slave now goes by the title Dowager Princess Reuss, Countess of Plauen As a child that Heartfelt nature of the first verse struck a chord and I will continue to support this one -

Just be thankful it isn't the Blue Peter theme tune -
Actually reading the article it becomes quite odd He left his wife on the beach and walked back to his apartment and the police have recovered his phone from the apartment Now assuming he had not just left his phone at the apartment and returned to get it this seems to suggest an element of premeditation (or the intervention of a third party) If he arrived at the apartment why would he leave it again and if so why would he not take his phone with him I might be misreading what is in the BBC article and extrapolating but it is very concerning

Didn't know whether to put this here or on strange things on the internet thread but the lady who has done this has previously done some impressive work but I am not quite sure about this one

I have never gone for absolute definitive lists for example the Time lists one last time was hell to research as many of the lists were not visible for non-Time subscribers Like with most games there is a balance between getting a hit (that is reported) or getting a unique - because Uniques here have a special place in the game the wider the category possibly the quicker the game but all three way of winning have been acheived in the five games so far. Buffalo Phil got one in each category which on the face of it looks the easiest way to win There was one suggested category that got dropped because of lack of definition - Atheist Musicians
-
If we can get them sorted before I go away then I will publish them but I will not be around to answer questions and early submitters will not get confirmation until I get back I will see what Buffalo Phil comes up with
