I am putting Janet Waldo in peril.

There is nothing to compel you to join a game and new players would be welcomed each time the categories change.
-
Only General Election candidates but not just the two major parties.

Right peoples. I will probably not be back on the site until Tuesday lunchtime when I am hoping any last minute entries will be in so we can get everything in line for the start on 01st June. Remember you may need to find some replacements if I reject any of your picks. Have a good weekend, unless you are spending it trawling through the internet researching these five topics.

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Still quite a few survivors on that list. -
We are on target now for about 12 deaths maybe 13 if we get lucky. Are the prospects of a record breaking year ebbing away.

I have indeed Spade, is that my bad or was it such a stinker that its stinking explains why nobody ever told me to see it? The assorted talent that's spread over those films (Kevin Kline, Jean Reno, Emily Mortimer, Kristin Chenoweth, Clive Owen, Beyonce, the aforementioned Statham, Alfred Molina, Jeremy Irons, Lily Tomlin, Andy Garcia, Aishwarya Rai, John Cleese and DL favourites Johnny Halyday and Geoffrey Palmer) means it's usually a winning answer once in every three episodes of Pointless. I think I've seen that. Is it the one where Clive Owen does a really ill-advised James Bond pastiche? Yep. As much as I enjoy Owen as a "thriller released in February with no Oscar aspirations" performer, comedy isn't his strong point. Tried watching King Arthur once. Tedious beyond belief turned off after 25 minutes. Doesn't look like Drama is his strong point either. TV actor trying to extend beyond his ability?

Corey Feldman has now made some allegations about the Hollywood child abuse. Apparently Elijah Wood has also made some comments. This could be the US version of the Saville scandal, if it is true

Death slam form guide #24 Cher For regular readers of National Enquirer Pop Star and Actress Cher is their pin up girl. Either "Increasingly frail Cher is enduring her said last days because (select from drop down menu) and is preparing to be reunited with Sonny" or she doesn't take a good photograph when she puts out the trash and there just happens to be a photographer outside her house". Is this evidence enough for you to pin your victory in this all or nothing competition?

I have just realised this game is virtually the Deathlist equivalent of Pointless.

Does anyone think he is beginning to look a little haggard these days? -
Does this mean you won't have time to enter SHBDP? :-(

Deathslam Form Guide #21 Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI Celebration of the solstice is a pagan act not supported by the Holy Catholic See but a damned good funeral is a coming together of Christians. Will Josef do the right thing by his former flock? Or will our hopes go up in smoke?
-
Yes two other players had to make a Kwouk change as well. I had actually forgotten he had been in DW until the entries came in.
-
Paul Gambaccini has got the Pick of the Pops gig. Who will probably raise the level of music journalism. Good call

Deathslam Form Guide #19 Sheila Mercier Sheila is now 97 and was last seen playing soap matriarch Annie Sugden in Emmerdale in 2009 (which is where that photo is taken from). In the battle of the soap queens will she prevail in the Midsummer deadpool?
-
He looks almost as washed up as that franchise.
-
Entries end a week today. Don't get caught out in the Midsummer Deathslam stampede get those entries in early. Especially if I have to reject your picks.

Aye, one of our cats arrived five and a half years ago with a fairly confident prediction by the vet that she had "weeks" left. So, I'll take to calling her Billie, after Billy Graham, then? Well when she arrived she was skin and bone, we put up signs and took her to the vets to check to see if she was chipped but no response after she had been with us a few weeks she brought along a friend who wanted to be fed but would not come in the house so he lived in the garage he died about three years ago but all her ailments cleared up and she just kept going. About 12 months ago she started going downhill but she hasn't reached the cliff edge yet.

dead Nicholas Parsons
Bibliogryphon replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
He was married to Denise Bryer for almost 45 years. I think it is one of those things there are some people who will get old and others who won't. I colleague once encountered him in a restaurant and was not impressed by him as a fellow human being so you can probably rule out Karma. -
There are a number of posters on this site who are of an age to remember when kids tv wasn't just to educate, inform and entertain but was also designed to scare the shit out of pre-schoolers. One example of this was Hector's House which featured puppet animals including a cat called Zsa Zsa. Like other BBC shows it was originally made in French and redubbed for the UK audience. In the French version the cat was called Zou Zou. In the English version Zsa Zsa had an exotic 'non specific' European accent. The reason I have mentioned this is because I have taken to calling our pet cat Zsa Zsa because no matter how ill she gets she will not die. At Christmas the vets told us 'a couple of months' and she is still with us. She is not ill enough to consider a one way trip but she is really struggling and complains a lot and keeps missing the litter tray.

It is amazing what you discover when researching for Deadpool postings. The voice actress Denise Bryer (Hector's House, Zelda in Terrahawks and Commander Makara in Starfleet) was Nicholas Parson's first wife and is still with us aged 88. -
Never mind that Cat, I want to know why the Leicester ring road is such utter wank. It must have sent me fucking MILES out of my way to get onto the M1 for the Eat Mids airport. They should build a road straight across, preferably across Citys ground too. Where were you coming from. You may have been better using the A14 to get on the M1 and avoid Leicester altogether. By any means possible. Ah, my coat.... But he should make another special trip to savour all the delights it has to offer. Getting through is more difficult but it has many attractions.

Sorry about that. Cleared some space in my inbox. New teams welcomed. Can we get into double figures of teams?
-
Yes as long as they have sat in the House of Lords during their career. The problem comes with heredity peers as whether they sat before or after they inherited the title.
