Back in the early ninties when I worked for a certain Nationalised Coal mining organisation we had some Chinese interns with us for a few months and they would spend time with us in the labs. Of course working from British Coal and criticizing the government of the day went hand in hand but this poor Chinese lad used to sit listening to us very nervously watching the door all the time. He later said that he was shocked about how we talked about our Government all the time in critical terms, people who do that in China ( he hesistated looking for the right word) .....disappear. Made me think about the freedoms we have that we take for granted.

I think top of the pile of CVs would be one J Mourinho. -
I stand corrected. I had switched to the Today programme by then.

Steve Wright never hosted the Radio 1 breakfast show.

I could be wrong, but wasn't the show filmed in Wandsworth, South London? It was definitely south of the river.

Do you have to change this for each poster or is it set as a forum wide limit? If the former I would like some more. Have occasionally reached my limit.
-
Apparently there is such a limit, it may well be 10 for a 24 hour period, if I found the right setting. Nothing beats an experiment to find a fact, so I've just set it to 12. Do you get more likes? I ran out very quickly on the day Thatcher died....

But that would probably result in those more obscure teams not doing very well which would probably mirror their performance on the football field.

Come in Norman Tebbit your time is up....

He actually wrote all the music for the TV adaptation of A Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.

Considering the revelations from Gordon Banks over the weekend combined with the draw for the Euros 2016 a really obsessive football fan could come up with a game for 2016 by compiling a squad (15 players) for each team at the Euros of former international players who might die during the year and have a Deathlist Euros league.

Lets face it that teenagers are tech savvy. It is probably better they are in here than watching hardcore porn or buying drugs on line. I am sure that if parental controls are in place then this forum would be blocked. I say let them stay if they can cope with the constant verbal abuse and the correction of their grammer. -
Not wanting to attract the glass house comment but quality is preferable to quantity Sir C. I for one do not want to hear about every US person who has ever pulled on a sports shirt who has sadly passed. Maybe if you ran that game you suggested it would keep you fully occupied. (I do like many of your posts but I skip an awful lot)

I am slightly worried that Trump is a sideshow to make the real Republican candidate look moderate and attractive (even though they secretly hold similar views) cough NigelFarage.

Sorry not going to join in. We had a wonderful time decorating our tree on Sunday. We are planning to have meetings with both sides of the family and we need to be careful because we don't know each year whether it will be Dad's last one. Money is short but love is plentiful.
