Would just like to say thank you to MPFC for organising this and his promise (mortality permitting) to do so next year. I did prepare my team immediately after the 2014 game ended but this was much further on in the year. I will have a team ready for December.

Add to that Frank Bough, John Noakes and William Woolard

Congratulations msc. I have had my best performance reaching 4 digits. Still a bit cross that Leslie Phillips didn't deliver for me. Deathray - rather than spend time in the next couple of weeks sorting out your Deathrace 2016 could you update the Hare's Deathpool because if my calculation is correct I might be on top?

No I think that all the kids that appeared on School of Rock will die one by one as Gene Simmons sacrifices them to Satan to prolong his life

Seriously? How old are you? Where do you want me to start? Charles and Camilla is a real love story with happy end! Also, Charles is an old hippy and probably votes green. Yes that old familiar love story where out of a misplaced sense of honour a guy allows the woman he (supposedly) loves to marry his pal shack up with a brood mare 15 years his junior and subjects her a miserable marriage whilst cuckolding his pal until he finally drives away his wife and then she conveniently dies/is killed (delete as appropriate if you are Muhammed Al Fayad) and then they finally marry so she can care for him as he descends into an eccentric pensionerhood still waiting to fulfill his destiny. Why Disney haven't done that one I can only guess.

Firm believer in innocent until proven guilty, it's the only possible way that even approaches fair. But there comes a point even for me where sheer number of accusations starts to look incriminating. "His lawyer is denying ever single one of the accusations - he started at half past nine this morning and was still going at teatime" There's no real evidence for it but it IS scientific fact??? Moron... I read that Theresa May said that the public still doesn't grasp the whole scope of the pedophilia investigation, that it is ingrained in british society... Well, I think that every isolationist caste of people "encourages" pedophilia. I mean, the best example is the Catholic Church: hides itself behind church walls, tries not to get too involved in modern society (especially the upper echelon), the members cover up each others crimes. It happens in Germany as well, not just in the Church but most prominently, at the Odenwaldschule, a private boarding school, founded as a sort of spearhead of progressive education, slightly familiar to religious sects and situated in a remote forest. It's much more likely to encounter pedophiliac actions when power and isolation come together. I think that's also true for the British upper class, and that might be why the focus of Jewtree is on the Tories. Other parties allow more participation of lower classes and enable more social mobility. It's much harder to keep a secret if people are constantly coming or leaving. So "Labour pedophilia" could only happen on the local level whereas the Tories with their better connections to power and wealth, as well as their focus on class, could have some kind of national pedophile ring going. I understand your argument but we have examples across the political spectrum. However the Palace of Westminster might itself become such a closed group. I think I have mentioned this befoe but Google Frank Beck.

There was an interview with Julain Clary recently about David Tennent being on Just A Minute and he did say that it is now always recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre rather than touring round the country as it used to. I still wouldn't pick him for next year though. -
You still have not recorded the death of Jeffrey Segal. Is he considered Lost?

Forgot that Leslie Phillips was in this video (1.30-1.45) from the Comic Strip film GLC. Who would have predicted Rik Mayall would go before Leslie Phillips? Yes this is very tenuous but any excuse to link to that song. The sheer knowing overblown excess is such a joy.

If that comes through the person who played her as a joker will be pleased.

It is a one off to celebrate the 60th contest. Apparently it is popular in Australia. -

Not to mention that that very remoteness rather makes a mockery of "Euro"vision song contest, at least if not technically in Europe most have been geographically close. Not that it has ever been much more than a thinly veiled exercise in politics anyway imo. As alluded to above with the local neighbours thing. reference Looking at the attached map it seems to indicate that Libya is a member of the EBU. -

Let's not forget Australia has been invited to compete at Eurovision for the first time ever this year!   Half the countries vote for their geographical or historical neighbours... Your remoteness goes against you straight away. You are staring at mid table ranking at most. Better hope your song is good because "null-point" has been achieved quite a few times. I think the novelty of having Australia in the competition will be in their favour. Australian's have had a good record when the have represented the UK before now Olivia Newton-John and Gina G. -
Dear Great Master of the Deathrace: It has come to my attention that in the transfer between my list in post #10 and the master list. My pick has been transferred from Sam Simon to Sheila Sim. Therefore can I have some extra points please?

fighting for his l ife after massive heart attack according to twitter .Hope he pulls through. He's one of the few MPs who actually cares about the poor Hmm, so he's not back to campaign and he's sitting in fairly safe Labour territory, there'll be a scramble for that opportunity. I am sure his compassionate colleagues would not even begin to entertain such thoughts. Though perhaps they might need a new black tie for an event, any event, nothing in mind you know.....

More pics here, but that's not Andy Bell as per caption, it's Tommy Mack. I don't know who looks worse. The Kemp brothers look worn, Tony Hadley better than I have seen him look recently but Martin Fry looks positively haggard.

**checking Baskin's name off my list of 'famous theater managers in Estonia'**SC The guy was absolute legend in Estonia. Everybody knew him. You don't need to be sarcastic because you don't know anybody outside your little island. I understand the sentiment but if I am correct SC dwells in that Little Island that is North America. Either you understand the sentiment (agree) or you don't. Don't dance on the head of a pin. Not sure how my being from NA is relevant. SC I think that Eesti was trying to suggest that you hailed from Blighty hence the correction with a small touch of irony.
