Death laughs in our face once more and her ex-husband dies

My favourite was Glyn Owen, the guy who played the captain of the prison ship in the 2nd episode (I liked the first few eps of Blakes 7 but never got very far beyond them). Just seemed like an very natural and convincing actor for some reason. In that kind of role, anyway. Yeah I know he's already dead. The guy who played that scumbag Rayker (or Raker) wasn't bad either. Oh and Gareth Thomas looks kinda shit these days. I'd be inclined to keep an eye out for John Savident looked terrible in the eighties and then had that unfortunate incident where he was attacked in his home a few years back.

I have decided to be helpful and write bios for all my 2015 picks that were not 2014 picks. It only amounts to 8 across three teams and that is assuming they all make the starting line.

So, How's Your 2015 Shortlist Looking?

I have all my teams in place but may do some last minute tweeking. -
Well, I'm fairly confident that Olivia will live to see 2016. But okay, we might as well replace some of the men you mentioned instead. The DL is already too male dominated. Undoubtably because men don't live as long as women. I call it playing it too safe. It's way disproportionate. Are you sure your figures are correct? P = Phyllis

The review for the film in which Tim Roth plays Sepp Blatter and Sam Neill plays Havelange has not been a critical success. Maybe we should offer to promote the DVD thrugh our website as I am sure JH will feature in Next Year's list. Obviously we would need to be suitably reimbursed for such actions but I think that the executive of the DL committee would not resort to taking cash bribes or all expenses paid trips to Russia 2018.

One to keep an eye on might be Welsh Labour MP Ann Clwyd (b.1937) she said she was standing down at the election next year but has since changed her mind and maybe reselected. I always think it would be nice to have a couple of serving MPs on the radar. That's where by-elections come from children.

Nearly time for our annual check-up on Bart's health. Unbelievably, he still appears to be going strong and has entered a horse in this year's Cup. Go Bart go! It is that time of year again... Bart didn't have a horse in the Cup this year but that doesn't stop our annual health check! Here is a photo of the old boy from a few days ago. Do we think he will last another year? It is that time of year again... Here is our annual Bart Cummings health check for 2014: We are sure that the guy on the right isn't just some kind of twisted puppeteer?

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

It's funny, but how times have changed at the BBC. Once they were so strict on advertising that things like this happened Product placement doesn't bother me. My wife sat through the whole of I, Robot and failed to notice any of the blatent product placement. It makes you wonder why they spend their money. -

National Enquirer is running a Deathbed confession story for O J Simpson but as with all NE stories needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Doctor Who managed to top the above quote with the following on Saturday night: Danny is dead and is in the afterlife when a representative hands him an ipad: Danny: You have ipads in the afterlife Rep: We've got Steve Jobs Whilst I realise that we don't want to get into the pot/kettle debate here I thought that was a bit low for a family show. I am not going to mention the other events of the episode and would hope everyone else refrains from doing so. wibble wibble -
Only seven manure ones I think. May be better pickings. Docherty and O'Farrell late 80's, and the hun, McGuiness + Big Ron in 70's. Big Ron always looks like he might be a heart attack waiting to happen.

Honor Blackman might be a good bet.

If you ignore Caretaker Managers there are only five living Arsenel Managers Terry Neill (b.1942) Don Howe (b. 1935) George Graham (b. 1944) Bruce Rioch (b. 1947) Arsene Wenger (b.1949) Sorry but no-one is dying.

If you go back to your wife you do not keep a framed photo of your mistress. Aye, but...unlike the other hired hands Wilson was brought in to write as well as perform, wasn't he. It might have got slated as a formless puddle of keyboard-noodling shite, but those are Wilson's lyrics on Calling All Stations, right? I think he was brought in to try and make it look like the Genesis dynamic still existed. It was probably more a case of him being allowed to contribute to the writing rather than expected to. It should probably be put down to a failed experiment. It is still on my iPod though. Wilson was hired late in the writing process so he didn't contribute much to the album - Banks and Rutherford have to take full blame for it, I am afraid. Having heard some of Wilson's solo stuff, it could have actually been worse had he been involved... I remember at the time it came out, many fans were expecting Calling All Stations to be somewhat like And Then There Were Three, since both albums were basically just Rutherford-Banks co-writes and, in the sense that both are dreadful, so they are. (Okay, to be fair, I rather like Side 2 of And Then There Were Three but I think Side 1 possibly surpasses Calling All Stations for sheer awfulness.... ) I quite like individual tracks on ATTWT Burning Rope in particular Snowbound, Scenes from a Nights Dream, Say its Alright Joe, The Lady Lies and sometimes when I am in the mood Ballad of Big. However I tend not to listen to it as an album. -
