Newsreader Martyn Lewis is looking less than 100%. The picture in this article was taken last year.

Zambian President Michael Sata dies whilst being treated in the UK for an undisclosed illness. -
My draft shadow list for next year currently has 8 women on it. Not including Maureen.

Eh....... quite awful but still better than a couple of the ones Phantom has posted. I thought he had been visited by the ghost of Tommy Cooper.

Maybe we could get him interested in posting on this site. His DDP team of World Leaders That Will Die Before Me would be a blast. Maybe he would like some DL Merchandise and post some pictures. We need someone to replace Ronnie Biggs.

The 10 oldest people in the world are all women but I am not sure whether that would help or hinder your team. They don't seem inclined to die at all this year. Regarding the longevity of woman, before we were married Mrs Biblio worked in a village pharmacy. Naturally she had lots of elderly customers, She observed that if the wife predeceased the husband, the man would often die within the year whereas the woman would battle on. One of my DDP teams only had 5 women in but 3 of them have died 60% hit rate. Whereas another only has two women neither of whom has died,

Lynda's funeral is to be a joyous affair Autumnal celebrity funerals are a bit like the bit at the start of a horse race where they wander round the paddock and you try to pick who is going to be first to the finish line. Ill celebrities will always try to get to other celebs funerals otherwise no-one might come to their's.

Well, I'm fairly confident that Olivia will live to see 2016. But okay, we might as well replace some of the men you mentioned instead. The DL is already too male dominated. Undoubtably because men don't live as long as women. I call it playing it too safe. It's way disproportionate. Well I don't think we should introduce quotas or something. I think that a lot of the problem is many of the fields we draw from are very male dominated worlds. Politics, sport, movies etc On my work list of the 10 oldest 6 were women but when I look at the middle 50 on the list there are 13 women which is higher than the DL but far from parity. Although 30% of the scoring deaths have been women.

Link This came as a big surprise. If you had to choose which of Liza Goddard's ex-husbands would die first I imagine most Deathlisters would have gone for the Fat Timelordy one.

Maybe he felt that he wasn't getting the recognition he needed.

Sam Simon for me.

Not a fan? Doesn't bother me either way. I was shaking my head at his trolling of the Deathlist selection process.

Fascinating....... but could you try limiting these birthday posts to people we don't have to put into Google Image Search to remind ourselves who they are? Apparently he is currently appearing in Eastenders.. Not that I watch that crap I just heard.

Not fogetting Leslie Phillips, Phil Spector and Nancy Reagan
-
Yes you do. You forgot the obligatory "er, not that I watch that rubbish, I just.... saw that somewhere" Guilty pleasure...... Admitedly from a DL point of view it has become less watchable.... Is Bruce going to make it through the whole show?

Just in case anyone doesn't know the first song (and, primarily, because you can never ever have too much of Debbie Harry ): I thought the Tide is High was by Atomic Kitten........

I am glad I waited as I was trying to work out who to chuck to make way for her in my Deathrace team.

Coverage of Police protesters in Algeria included this: "The poor state of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika's health has called into question who is running the country" I think this guy might be a good bet for 2015.
