Considering all of the stuff that is available on the internet anyone who comes on here to rant about our lack of taste and sensitivity is really looking for something to rant about. Everyone enjoys watching those morbid montages at the end of the year when they list everyone who has died but because we get in early we are considered to be a bunch of sickos. We may walk the tightrope of taste but we are finely balanced.

President (recumbent) Barack Obama
Bibliogryphon replied to Boudicca's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I don't think Michael Moore would want to investigate this. It is well away from his usual victims: Gun lobby, big business, Republicans and rather surprisingly Germans. -

Am I the only person here who considers Michelle Obama to be a fine figure of a woman? -
So Paisley comes as a surprise as none of the recent posts suggested him in their calculations for the finishing positions. We have now equalled the total for 2011 (worst recent year) but we are two deaths ahead of where 2011 was at this point. We are currently only one death behind 2013 at this point but bumper year 2003 the last death occurred on 28th September. I think we will make double figures at least.

If he carries out a self inspection and declares himself failing will they just bring in new management to try and turn him around?

both dead Elaine Stritch And Donald Sinden
Bibliogryphon replied to MadMac's topic in DeathList Forum
When I heard Donald Sinden has died I could only think about the "Someone famous has died.." Spitting Image sketch where Donald was phoning all his luvvie chums to see if they were still alive... -
Hehe, if it's a son, they'll call him Duncan or Malcolm. Seriously don't rule out James.... Too catholic... Apparently alongside Henry it is leading the early betting. However the fact that Viscount Severn is called James probably will go against it. Victoria and Elizabeth for the girls. Diana... Middle name. (One of many)

I always quite liked Douglas. I did think that he might be reasonably well positioned if (when) Ed gets the boot. If Scotland break away that won't happen. Some people have tried to link David Cameron's job to the outcome of the referenndum but will Alex Salmond step down as First Minister if there is a No vote?

Authors Last A Long Time, But....
Bibliogryphon replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
The two writers who gave us Logan's Run are both still with us and worthy of future consideration William F Nolan (b.1928) and George Clayton Johnson (b.1929). -

Labour have selected 09th October for the by-election which makes it the same day as Clacton. This should go to script as a straight forward Labour Hold but one factor that might be worth considering is that this part of Manchester was the home constituency of Lee Rigby.

The fact that he feels he has to deny a report in the National Enquirer means he is pretty defensive. I thought they way the publication was put together was to have one hat with names of celebrities in and another with a range of shock revelations and the pick one out of each and write the story. They probably also come onto this site and say which one shall we pretend we have evidence of to say they are dying - "That really winds these guys up"

We have a thread about running out of Dicks elsewhere. Does anyone know if Fannys are in short supply yet? It is worse than that they are being wantonly destroyed. I recently saw a reprint of Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree and Fanny has had her name changed.
