He is on stage tomorrow night at the Royal Festival Hall. Where I hope someone will present him with the Worst Deathlist pick 2014 award. And there has been some stiff competition.....

Bowie was apparently happily on stage with Kate Bush at her comeback concert today so maybe he isn't the tax exile in question either... That was just a rumour that somebody put on Twitter. What that he was on stage with Bush or that he was the tax exile? I just saw him as one of the three rock acts on the list of the top ten British tax exiles linked upthread so he was a possible suspect. That he was on stage with Bush.

A link or supporting evidence would be nice. Nothing on his official website. Tried reading Duncton Wood once but gave up.

It seems he was shot by his lover (who he lived with) and his lover was also his son-in-law. Nowt so queer as folk. Except queer folk.

I did enjoy the recent BBC4 Kate Bush Documentry From a deathlist perspective I have listed the various talking heads in order of decrepitude Lindsay Kemp Dave Gilmour Elton John Nigel Kennedy Jo Brand John Lydon Tricky Neil Gaiman Stephen Fry Tori Amos Peter Gabriel Del Palmer Brett Anderson Steve Coogan Of course what was missing was interviews with Kate herself but very entertaining.

Mohammed Al Fayad asked me to correct your post. -
It is interesting to note that the Conservative candidate in South Thanet where Nigel Farage (or NF as I call him) is standing is a former UKIP deputy leader. I think that a number of Tory's will defect to UKIP when parliament is dissolved but before nominations close in specific seats especially if a significant Labour victory is expected.

A good place to start is Mort (#4) as this doesn't really rely on knowing what happened in the first three. The Colour Of Magic was written a long time before all of the others but The Light Fantastic (#2) is much better but follows directly on. When you get to know the set up it is worth going back and rereading the first three. Another good start is Wyrd Sisters (#6). Enjoy

Kenny? He was a very pretty boy......

The early ones are good, I got as far as "Men At Arms" before I gave up on them. You may have given in a little early Masquerade is brilliant and Carpe Jugulum is worth mentioning just because if you read it now you would think that it is taking the piss out of Twilight but the fact that this book was written before Twilight was published means that I don't think Stephanie Myers (or her editors) can read a lot of Pratchett.

His wife says he is strong and recovering well. Do we believe her?

I think seriel killers are fairly rare and should not be confused with the mass killers who perform one act of carnage.

These types of allegation are very difficult to prove one way or the other. It is a matter of public record where Cliff was on any of his given tours or at appearances at events like Billy Graham's crusades and I imagine backstage is quite chaotic so it would be impossible for Cliff to deny having encountered someone. Then it becomes a discussion about whether a particular act was committed. I imagine that South Yorkshire police will only proceed with this one if they have a very credible witness and some corroborating evidence.

Just like Cilla 'lovable scouser' persona. According to Paul McCartney she was actually quite posh.

Ronnie Corbett was rushed to hospital a few days after David Frost's memorial, so that could explain things. The man with Margaret Beckett is her husband, Leo. How old is he? (apart from very)
-
He might be leaving the embassy soon. Will he vanish, will someone bump him off or does he need urgent medical treatment?
-
Denis attended David Frost's memorial in March this year and judging by this collection of photos is worthy of inclusion. Peter Sissons and Ronnie Corbett look less than well and if anyone can find out who is on the arm of Margaret Beckett he should definitely go on someone's list. But they did attend which in itself is significant.

Now William Shatner is photographed in a wheelchair but don't get too excited it was because of an accident. Interesting Betty White photo as well. Don't many will be picking Bill above Leonard for 2015.

Surely if the Reverend had all his marbles this one would pose something of a dilemma. Obvioulsy his friendship and shared interest in Evangelical Christianity would lead him to lend his support but at the back of his mind his public declarations against homosexuality might give him cause for concern of contamination by association if there is anything in the allegations.
