The head of state is not necessarily the government.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

No contradiction. All children could be seen as a blessing from God even those conceived through fertility treatments. -
Sam Neill will be playing Joao in the film United Passions alongside Gerard Depardieu as Jules Rimet and Tim Roth as Sepp Blatter. Don't expect a tell all expose of corruption this is being reported as a FIFA bankrolled vanity project. Sepp has been to Cannes (like he needs another holiday)

Still well enough to take legal action against local museum

Please Let It Be... Paul McCartney

If he really wanted to take revenge on them, he'd subject them to a 30 minute live version of "Hey Jude" Or "Hey, I just thought I'd sing some of Linda's songs" -

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

Have you tried enduring the, er... "banter" between Richard Osman and Alexander Armstrong on Pointless? Come back and try and tell me you're a hard case after that. (Don't worry I'll have some tissues ready for you.) Richard and Alexander are tea-time gods and should not be dissed. Speak quietly you never know who might be listening. -
It always sets my teeth on edge when I hear the word "winningest" Isn't that a village on the Moselle? I'm sure I remember being at a wine festival there once. Even worse is when people use the word "losingest" I must consider myself blessed. I have never been in the presence of anyone who has used such words. I'd never heard it used before until I moved to the U.S. when you hear newsreaders use it in their reports and occasionally hear them say "my bad" if they make an error, I begin to lose hope in the future of humanity. Just seen one on a web site "actresse's son" Seriously!

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

Be prepared for those of a certain age, this post will contain some disturbing information. Our childhood was a lie In truth there were really three differeny Humptys used in Play School. Why did he insist on having two stunt doubles, could he just not work with Fred Harris? I don't know whether I will recover from this revelation. -
Knowing how these things go (for me) I expect he will die 09th June.

To true. Very confusing, to those easily confused. What makes matters worse is that the top entry on the ballot reads "An Independence from Europe" with an EU flag that has been crossed through. Now I'm fairly sure that most people know about UKIP and those who wish to vote for them can do so in the alphabetically ordered list in the lowest position. But for those not fully "compost-mental" then this will wick away vital votes and depress the UKIP vote. Big question is (beyond the little know mad folk down at the English Democrats). Who put up these other mavericks? I think the Tories themselves have most to gain in acting to depress the UKIP vote. Crafty. Looking at the names of the candidates in some of these splinter groups it looks like they were once candidates for UKIP which seems to suggest that all is not well in Eurosceptic land and that there are a hundred little Napoleons each looking for their share of the limelight.

I have a lot of respect for Clive James and he is much more than his old TV shows. He is a writer, poet and thinker. His R4 Point of View about Amy Winehouse recorded months before she died is worth seeking out. I wish him well.

Mary Stewart's publisher Hodder & Stoughton put something on their Twitter account. -
Good spot but even that was published 10 hours ago. It suggests the condition is Life threatening if Google Translate can be believed.

I think it is deluded. If he makes it to 2015 why not 2016. I mean its not like people who have their legs amputated and are given the last rites carry on for years and years.

A friend of mine was sent a postal vote for the East Midlands constituency and showed me the Ballot paper. There were 5 separate anti-EU, anti immigrations parties (not including the Conservatives). I think most of them are put up by UKIP to make them look sane.

To be fair I don't think NF converted anybody they were both playing to their core audiences.

I parse that as: the European Union is not dead, it just smells funny. regards, Hein Noone in the UK at the moment would probably stand up and say come on everyone we can make this an awesome club and it would improve our standing in the world as well. Actually I saw Nick Clegg do that on TV recently - so you're right, no-one. In my opinion he completely failed to do it and only allowed NF (what unfortunate initials) to pretend he had the upper hand.

Great I might break into the top 20 in the theme team league.

Is the Times obit behind the paywall sufficient for Mary Stewart?
