If all his criminal pals turn up the funeral I presume it will be a case of Corpse and Robbers.

I am a passive Leicester City supporter. I know when they are playing and check the score but I have only once ever been to a game. I dont think there is much on Planet Earth that can make you feel so involved and alive watching a live match............... unless you watch Leicester City. I support Rangers Nah, its Spurs, im addicted to supporting them and its an addiction im not ashamed of. I try to get to as many games as I can but its a 200 mile round trip, two tickets and a pile of money spent in the Spurs shop which adds up. Worth it tho. I am a theatre goer and am frequently shocked by how much it costs. We spent a small fortune going to see Stephen Fry in Twelfth Night last year but this pails into insignificance by the amount of money people spend week in week out going to Football matches.

No need to go to such lengths just e-mail Chris Brown and intimate that she has told you that he is not very well provided for in the trouser department. You will be collecting points before you know it. This post is wrong in so many ways!!

    Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

This and the Michael Le Vell affair are of no help to us poor Deathlisters. The events happen too early in the year for the potential suicide and if they make it till the end of the year they are probably not going to do it. Honestly some people have not consideration.

    British Science Fiction Series

6 days older than Baker don't you know. It's sad that Briers has passed away but the day Baker goes, you'd have to times that by 1,000,000... To suggest that Baker is more loved than Briers would be an intersting claim. I think the people who post here will make a lot more noise when Baker goes but overall more people watched The Good Life and Ever Decreasing Circles than Doctor Who. Everyone is mentioning the Good Life but the thing I know him from (besides Dr Who) is the Monarch of the Glen. Since that is a more recent show, I am surprised the media (at least over here) aren't mentioning that. And I knew about Briers from his voice work on the Watership Down movie, where I thought he did a great job of capturing Fiver's personality. Watership Down fits the broader category of speculative fiction rather than science fiction, of course, but it's interesting that even though it came out in 1978, more recent than a lot of movies and TV shows we discuss here, only four of the fifteen actors who voiced the major characters are still alive as far as I know: John Hurt (Hazel), Richard O'Callaghan (Dandelion), Hannah Gordon (Hyzenthlay), and Clifton Jones (Blackavar). Joss Ackland was the Black Rabbit.

Nevertheless The Doctor is an iconic role and Tom Baker the most iconic incarnation. Trouble is I don't think Tom Baker is going anywhere soon.

I think it is the case that a very large number of actors appeared in classic Doctor Who and they are all now beginning to reach that age where they will die. Someone jokingly suggested about The Bill once, that a role came free with every Equity card. I think the equivalent is now Doctors.

    Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

Surely if you hear someone in the loo you would check the obvious candidates first before letting off four shots into the bathroom. If I was burgling a house I would not start in the loo I would go for the ipads, jewelery and olympic medals not razor blades and spot cream.

    Comedians & Comedy Writers

Age. If todays "comedians" were any younger, they would be doing stand up at the entrance to their mothers vaginas as they were being born. Much of it is political correctness, unless you are Frankie Boyle, and our society has changed too. Comedy has monumentally shifted from pure social observation to a greater reliance on Political satire, IMHO. Precious few do stand up as we knew it, instead they run around the floor telling stories. Strangely, for me, the funniest of the current crop are people like Tim Vine, Milton Jones and that Canadian fella Stewart Francis. I suppose they are more like "old school" but in a modern context, or summat. Most of the older geezers end up doing summer seasons in Blackpool or Yarmouth infront of dentally challenged geriatrics. Just think, when the likes of Jim Bowen, Stan Boardman, Mick Miller and Jimmy Jones pop their clogs a whole generation or two will ask " Who the fuck were they?" We are getting old. I was surprised to see that Mick Miller is only 62.

Or assuming that Queen Elizabeth does not follow the Popes career path and decide to jack-it-all-in for a life of retirement & let Charlie have a go for little while, blimey he's waited long enough! I do not think QE II will abdicate because of the shadow that Edward VIII's abdication casts.

    The Dead Of 2013

Poor Felicity Kendall, to lose her husband from The Good Life and her mother from Solo in the space of 24 hours. Who played the straying husband in The Mistress? He might be worth a bet.

    Comedians & Comedy Writers

Where are the candidates for early death comedians going to come from? Thinking back there were plenty who had heart attacks (Eric Morecombe, Dustin Gee), drank themsleves to death (Sid James) or killed themselves (Tony Hancock). I can't see any of the current crop fitting in to these, with the possible exception of Peter Kay. What has changed?

    British Science Fiction Series

She was the Queen in the first series of Blackadder. Very sad news. and as the wife of the psychiatrist in that hilarious episode of Fawlty Towers .Has to be my favourite We should probably show her the appropriate respect and refer to her as Lady Rix. I had put her on my reserve list when researching Sheila Mercier who is her sister-in-law. She was active in Mencap.

2013 DDP Dumping Ground And Salvage Lot

Please, there really is no need to combust on my account. Try to remain calm at all times. I read that ZZ wasn't doing too well last September, so I thought I'd give him a run out in my team. I'm a bit worried about his obit chances though. He was on the Last Word on Friday along with David Taylor!
