I believe he used another (slightly lower) part of his anatomy

10 years ago the BBC had this to say on the subject.

The new album will be a while coming, then! So will his cell-mates. Did I actually press post on that? Oh, no I believe I did.

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters

Hadn't unconsciously thought of your good self as a man to be overly concerned with the paranormal (or Beadle come to that). Do tell. -
The highlight of this year's Brits was a tribute to 'Allo 'Allo!, featuring Ze Fallen Madonna with ze Big Boobies.... Look, I just copied and pasted it from Facefark. High art it isn't.

Stephen Fry. Because I outright admire the man and his honesty. Even though he isn't ill per-se, his bi-polar has driven him close before now. So no, no relation, but wouldn't pick him even if he did become ill. I can never keep track of the threads around here, but if there isn't one for this Deathray, it's a good candidate for its own place imo. Some conversation to be had there methinks.

Oh lord, please make these puns go away. I thought mine were bad .

Man taught at my Sunday school in Finchley back in the early/mid 70's. I shit (word used advisedly) you not. I've been a confirmed atheist ever since, not that the two are necessarily linked, and no, he never touched me p.s. allegedly rather than all ledge edley or whatever.

Can't like that, you're a guest, sign up, then I can.

I note, Sir Creep, that you have posted elsewhere, but not responded to this, I shall therefore consider myself amongst the most winningest posters here (argh, that actually hurt phantom, I see your point).

Bad? Not particularly. Let us merely say it is cross-Atlantic badinage. And on that note, the language is actually called English, this site is in the UK and therefore as a matter of courtesy if nothing else, one should not attempt to stomp all over local customs with ones own version of them. When and if I post to a site in the US, I shall happily spell the likes of color, medalist, or even heaven help me, aluminum as asked (if it ever comes up).

But it would clash with the cricket season. God job crickets an English sport then.. Ah well now, I wondered about that, but decided that Mr O'Falk will know that well enough hence the on the end. I mean you can't live here and not know of Midlothian or Dumbartonshire County Cricket teams can you? :S

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?

From that article:- "DiPietro-Hochman and her surviving family were inconsolable late Saturday and would not come to the phone when reached." Touch unsympathetic to try ringing them for comment I'd have thought. No? Ah well newspapers eh? And pedantically, since they didn't answer, how do you actually know they were inconsolable? Also if they didn't answer they weren't 'reached' either. pfft. Not that guns are ever going away in the US. This has been self evident no matter how many of these appalling incidents occur. -
Medallist. American English strikes again. Here's one guys attempt at listing them. It's two L's this side of the pond and one L that side. Whilst on the topic of spelling, I discovered a new word today because I wondered if today's online edition of the Observer had made an error (in an Editorial about Peter Oborne / The Daily Torygraph) or if I was simply losing it. They used the word complaisant and I'd never come across it before and thus pondered if maybe it was a misspelling of complacent (this is after all the Sunday version of the fabled Grauniad).... turns out it isn't and my vocabulary is one word larger than it was previously (not that I'll A: remember or B: ever use it). Oh and misspell is also often er, misspelled. Miles off topic, as I usually am, sue me.

Sorry to hear about your diabetes, but for god's sake's check the spelling of apparently, because apparently you got it wrong. (I really have to stop with the spelling lames, Damn, can't help myself)

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?

If only that were the case. See (for example) this and this. And that's just the kids, never mind the recent case (here) of 'bra-carry'... Law abiding citizens are also part of the problem. Oddly enough, and I admit this sort of surprised me, you are probably safer if you don't carry a gun even for defensive purposes. In a confrontation with an armed assailant it appears you will fare better when forced to use your gob than a gun. With a gun you're more likely to end up in a shootout with a guy who was more prepared for it than you were. Edited to add link to bra-carry post, since I found it. -
Toppled over. Best I can do, it's late, give me a break.

Tulips up in price. Edam down in price. It's criminal, Track Cycling and Speed Skating are still minority sports in rest of world. Terrain out of window still flat, says geologist. Watch out for tomorrows exciting report on repairing a puncture. (with sincere apologies to Hein).

I gave up at the first question, "What colour was the second moped". Moped? What moped? There were 2? Blimey.

If you are obitable, as a chance missed I expect.

Harsh. Guests are people too. In fact, although some are clearly just stirring, others post some of the more original comments in this place. In my view If you turn up here and aren't simply a case for the 'ffs we heard it all before' thread, more is better. YMMV.

I.E. is always to be avoided.. IE6 is a particular hate icon for web 'artistes'. IE11 is ok, but it's a bit 'locking the door after the horse has bolted'.
