Oooh. I must be close to catching DDT on most hits, which I find remarkable really, are you sure you didn't count my hits twice or something?

    Gerry Adams & Martin McGuinness

Gerry Adams became Sinn Fein leader by ousting Ruairi Ó Brádaigh. Ó Brádaigh has died, meaning another hit for the theme team - Their Troubles will (hopefully) Soon Be Over - and puts them in the top ten of the Theme Team League as he had a UK obit - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-22787837

    Rod Stewart

Flying high in the charts and looks well but i noticed in the Daily Mail story about Prince Phillip, that Stewart has had a virus for a few days now, so maybe not as indestructible as I thought

    The Chequered Flag

It's the Isle of Man TT again, so hang tight for a number of reports saying someone has died. The first of the 2013 graduates is Japanese biker Yoshinari Matsushita, http://asia.eurosport.com/motorsports/japan-s-matsushita-dies-in-isle-of-man-qualifying-crash_sto3776121/story.shtml

    Mollie Sugden et al

I needed those 6 points to keep me ahead in case of Nolan dying. Only this morning though I was debating if he was a good pick and whether I should drop him for 2014. I'll drop him now....

    I don't know if this is public knowledge or not, but I received an email about Murray Walker today;

    Christopher Lee

Recent (February 2013) video here - Looking his age, but at least he is getting out and about, and he's still working. Indeed, to celebrate his 91st birthday, another heavy metal album has been released, which promises to be 100% heavy metal - http://metro.co.uk/2013/05/23/christopher-lee-to-release-100-heavy-metal-album-on-his-91st-birthday-3807091/ However the title is "The Omens of Death"........

Convinced he appeared once right at the end. My memory is pretty poor - I couldn't even remember Kenneth Connor's name.

Bit careless of Kenneth Connor to die twice. Isn't the bloke who played Mr Maplin dead?

    Alfredo Di Stefano

Now permanently in a wheelchair, but looks very well and is marrying a new bride 50 years younger than him - http://metro.co.uk/2013/05/06/real-madrid-great-alfredo-di-stefano-86-to-marry-36-year-old-3713960/. She'll be one for the widow shopping thread in 2061.

    Hymn Writers

Geoffrey Ainger, writer of "Mary's Child", a very pleasant and relatively new Christmas hymn, long time Methodist minister and someone that I'd seriously considered for next year's DDP, has died, aged 87. I'm glad I didn't pick him, as Ainger died in January and coverage of his death was so bad, I've only discovered it today whilst checking if he remained (he isn't now) a good candidate - indeed even his former church where he wrote the hymn over gave him a brief menton in their recent update - http://www.loughtonm...ay_2013_web.pdf (page 7) Maybe hymn writers aren't the "broadsheet" obit bankers they used to be.

    Bill Clinton

Looks alright here meeting with another person whose ill-health has, I believe, been somewhat overstated - Gabriel Garcia Marquez. http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522gabriel%2Bgarcia%2Bmarquez%2522%2B%25222013%2522%26num%3D100&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=es&u=http://www.informador.com.mx/cultura/2013/458161/6/gabo-ya-no-luce-joven-como-antes-pero-sus-ojos-brillan-clinton.htm&usg=ALkJrhizcB21lKX39D-d6TViDgZb27rqQg

Of course it is, thanks. My brain got stuck on Bernard Cribbins, f**k knows why and wouldn't move on from anyone called Bernard - Cribbins, Bresslaw etc.

    Comedians & Comedy Writers

Most of 'allo 'allo are dead already- Hill, Haig, Silvera, Hilary Minster(?) - played von Klinkerhoffen and the large German chappie (Richard Marner I think his name was), not to mention Jean-louis Mansi and the chap from the Carry On movies who name inexpicably fails me right now.

He was 93? Doesnt seem possible, thought he was in his early 80's. A great shame.

As it's at St. Albans, and I live 3 miles from there, if it has come out of anyone's pocket, it's come out of mine. What is it with the Greeks and using other people's money by their careless actions lately ? It would be the East of England Air Ambulance for St. Albans, by the way, and as Toast says, a very worthy cause, even for past-it pop singers.
