Welcome aboard, dead grandmother. I think you'll find a mention of Melly's problems here
-
I still see no reason to keep Biggs locked up. He's hardly a menace to society. Unless they want to prevent him from teaming up with John Lydon again to release another single.

Probably to differentiate from ensembles such as the Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra I wonder if they ever supported Jim Nabors when he sings at the start of the Indianapolis 500 each year
-
I'm guessing we'll have 16 hits this year and I have a feeling that Mark Felt will be the first to go. I've been wrong each time on these polls, so why break a habit

Will he, won't he? I would certainly expect so. He can't live much longer, not the state he's in. He can't talk, he's paralysed, he's had MRSA, several strokes, a heart attack and some sort of trouble with his stomach. I'd say he's a definite bet. Wasn't that heart attack in 2004? From recent reports he's chatting away quite happily

Pete Burns claims to be feeling "suicidal" after a botched plastic surgery job. He also claims that the operation left him "physically repulsive" too, so I guess it improved his appearance slightly.

I have highlighted the operative word in the headline for your benefit

Melly collapses on stage
-
It says in the report that it was a collision between two military helicopters. No mention of a plane or even an aeroplane in the news report.

Leopoldo Pirelli former chairman of the Italian tyre company has died at the age of 81

Luise Rainer, Jane Wyman and Olivia de Havilland have all been suggested in the past, but how about other academy award winners around the same time such as Jennifer Jones (born March 2nd 1919) won the 1943 Academy Award for Best Actress for The Song of Bernadette Joan Fontaine (born October 22nd 1917) won the 1941 Academy Award for Best Actress for Suspicion

No grobler you cant be a true fan if you give up on him now he has been through a lot and now his dad has just died and hopefully he will be on stage 10th 17th December and no i wont be moving on to someone else he is a great singer and a true gent i have met him I don't think anyone can seriously dispute the fact that he is a very good singer. The main point of interest regarding JL is whether or not he will die between 01/01/ & 31/12/2007. My guess would be that he, or his publicity people, are engaging in a little Liza/Liz style talking up of their diva's ilnesses in order to increase ticket sales. Would anyone outside of his cult following have heard of Joe Longthorne anytime in the last 15 years if it weren't for his constant deathscares? This guy's had more comebacks than a boomerang!!!! Joe is a workaholic he is putting another show on in April at the grand Blackpool he has got his voice back and the shows are packed a true gent No the Joe's publicity people do need to talk up his illness he has a big following and i have asked people that are not in his fan club if they know of joe longthorne and every one know's him from T.V which he should be back on also he is to be honoured for his entertainment and charity work on June 2nd in Manchester joe has had his last rites a few times and he is still here and getting better each day That's uncanny, I was listening to the Last Rites only this morning, good band they were. Noddy and Paul Wright from The Fields of The Nephilim formed that band

I might've known you were behind it somehow Couldn't add Francis Pym, Baroness Jeger, Jimmy Langley, Hans Ruesch & Les Leston to your list as well? Pym is on my list for next year, I'd need to look into the others though.

Strange that. Only a few days ago I was looking at potential 2008 candidates & for some reason he popped into my head as an "off the wall" potential choice (not being aware of his illness). Hardly surprising, therefore, that he should die a few days later... Great shame, though. I think it's a combined effort OoO, I had pencilled him just last weekend on a list of candidates for 2008 with a note to research more into his condition. Oh well, at least it's saved me some time looking up his details.

The Babbyshambles have secured a new record deal with Parlophone. That's if Doherty can stay out of prison long enough to record anything
-
The story comes from the National Enquirer, apparently, so believe what you will... I thought as much, given how Curtis is held in esteem among his fellow acting buddies, there's no way none of the other press agencies would miss this one.
-
It would depend on where you are located. The reports all say that he died late wednesday evening. which would make it the early hours of the morning in the UK.
-
I might be physically ill if he goes, because he deffo falls in the "it would be a real shame to miss" category I've tried to look for a news report from another source to confirm the details on this, but haven't found anything. It seems a strange story to just give to Hello magazine and no one else has picked up on it.

I tried, I failed. Looks like only the Admins can do that. I'm just pleased at the moment that I've had my 3rd hit in the space of a week, although they're all on 3 different dead pool selections
