May I repeat my suggestion for the tag line "Give me Joost a little more time" seems appropriate at the present time.

“I look old, my hair is grey, I look tired, exhausted, dark rings under my eyes, red from crying, face thin now, cheeks sunken, hair limp.” This line struck me.

Mystical healings and all that rubbish. You know, healing terminal illness via acupuncture, massage and all that jazz. I got that but do they have a deity or shit like that?

I'm a firm believer sometimes the kindest thing you can do is use a syringe of diamorphine to speed it along. Then again, Harold Shipman had the same idea... I am as well. That is why I think the census should include people expressing advance directives to write down what people want whilst they are still of sound mind.

I know what you mean.When my Grandmother was in the final stage of Alzheimer`s and bedridden the medical professionals kept insisting when she had infections that she was rushed to AaE even when moving her made her scream and cry uncontrollably.They wanted to save her life but as a family we kept trying to scream at them for what purpose do we keep her alive when everything that made her who she was had been taken by the disease.In the end they gave us our way and let her die in peace whilst sedated but we had to fight for them to give in.

I would say it is less than that.It seems to act as a distraction to impending mortality.If you believe that stuff works it acts as a placebo and you feel more hopeful for a while until the situation becomes grave.It is I guess a way of keeping happy and enjoying the time you have left by having an almost delusional belief that you will be ok. As Bouncebackability notes those who sell bogus medications are pure evil for exploiting someone who is vulnerable and desperate.

Amended. Means she's not going to get better. That much I gathered just seems a very strange blog entry.Beautifully moving and well written but kind of felt like a piece of creative writing. New Age bullshit (organic). It does scream of that too but it conveys genuine emotion and sense gathering perspective.I wonder if the man she supposedly saw at the lake is a metaphor for God?

It certainly seems that way however most cancer patients like Jenny Diski and a few friends family members online start spouting unintelligable nonesense and can`t write clearly at all due to drugs.This is very well written if not unbelievable.

I found this curious too, because at first I thought he was just referring to Gerald Kaufman. But then when I checked, Gerald Kaufman didn't actually vote - which in itself I think means he's really near the end as MPs have been taken out of hospital and on life support machines to vote when it's so important. In which case it seems there are some new deathly figures haunting the Labour benches and I don't just mean the ghost of Lenin whispering in Corbyn's ear. The practice of wheeling MPs in on life-support machines ended decades ago, and the parliamentary convention of having someone on the opposing side abstaining with you (so the vote reflected the vote if everybody attended) was brought in. Correct - however pairing only applies to 1 or 2 line whips. This was a 3 line whip and therefore didn't apply. Apparently Ronnie Campbell opened a door for Diane Abbott shortly before the vote and said she looked fine.Awkward

They claim we are taunting him which is a lie.We are morbidly speculating.No one here is saying ha ha this guy is terminally ill and if someone did I would not be impressed.Seems odd also that they are associating us with the two days to live rumour. I don't think they are. The rumour seems to have stemmed from a misunderstanding, which prompted commiserations. The "cruel online taunts" seems to be separate from the DL bit - it's probably a reference to something on football sites. Yeah you are probably right.Football can bring out the worst side in people as well as well as the best at times.

Nick Boles didn't vote as at the hospital. Where does Grahame Morris have cancer of?

According to John Mann MP some of the MP`s who voted in last nights vote are "so sick they have not been able to carry on their work as Mp`s" stating they are "very very ill".Wonder who he means.
